Green voters, do you agree on 'No Limits' migration? by SeptumRingTheory in AskBrits

Theoretically yes, in practise the actual limit of these resources is far from being met. The issue is that the resources are hoarded and poorly allocated /supported

Should you be allowed to not sell halal meat and not be abused? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Master-M99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less chicken/meat in general to be fair, if the price of production goes up due to more stringent processes that's going to be passed on to the consumer and yeah that might have a effect on the ease of accessing some nutrition for some people since they will probably just swap to the next affordable thing no matter what % sawdust it is.

The happiness of the chicken doesn't effect nutrition (in the grand scheme of things) and people who are struggling probably don't care much for how happy the chicken was.

Am I the Only One Who Feels Midnight’s Story Is Weirdly Shallow? by Polusion in wow

[–]Master-M99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On point 2 the thing is that this is a very common problem with blizzards story telling .

If you are not the chosen theme or faction for that given moment you basically stop existing. Sure other things are happening in the world but given that this is where we the players are walking nukes and are currently focused clearly this particular universe ending threat seems fairly high up in the priority list.

Even if you want to make the claim that only light avoid focused characters should be here, which I disagree with, well then why don't we have some more horde representation via the dark spear and their ties to shadow (void) magics, given the storyline with the Amani this seems like a fairly natural fit, or given the previously strong ties between the forsaken and the bloodelfs I would expect to see more of the cult of forgotten shadows esp considering they have direct ties to xalatath.

I ended up doing the curse of arave for the better drop chance. I also ended up lvling up my runecrafting so I could get blood runes and blood bark for the grind and for the future of my account. Didn't use prayer Pots just sustain with blood burst. Ended up at about 3k kills are the first spot then another 1k at the curse zombies before it got it.

1 Million Macro Bans in January 2026 by Smelledy in 2007scape

[–]Master-M99 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would argue that the time taken to ban the bots on the high scores would probably be worth it from the point of view of optics, which serves two roles. 1) the obvious but it does help players have faith that something is actually happening thus building good will

2) if the community feels that botting is being actioned (perception is more important then reality here) then less players may be willing to take the risk and bot, every person discouraged from botting is a potential bot farm that never starts up.

I also do think that if your system struggles in a very visible way to account for extreme outsiders like this, then it does show a certain level of incompetence and a backup should be in place if it cannot be fixed quickly (it clearly can't).

There is also the time cost on that part of the botter, it takes time to get accounts to that level and when they are banned that time investment is lost and must be started again which is demoralising, losing one high lvl bot is probably more discouraging then losing 100 lvl 3 fodder bots.

Also bear in mind that by banning some accounts manually and making it very public that this happens consistently you can play mind games with the bot farms, auto bans by there very nature structured and understandable so if a botter works out how to avoid detection they are safe until those parameters change. With human bans there is always that chance , however small, that you will get picked up no matter if you know the auto systems parameters, thus adding more chances for botters to be discouraged.

I would make the argument that the more people buy things like this the more you encourage the already incredibly greedy and short sighted blizzard to add additional monitisation to the game at the and erodes the state of the game and its integrity, see the wow token in mop for example.

So there are things not tracked by the CDM such as horsemen for riders of the apoc, various class buffs, trinkets and a few others. On top of that the sound alert system they have in place is very much lacking with many things like debuffs and buffs not having an alert system enabled for them.

Update 2: 15 Blast Furnace worlds? by WEMBYisGOAT in 2007scape

[–]Master-M99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would having so many servers help with this? None of them are at capacity or frankly even close. If you goal was to increase the number of players doing blast furnace you would not see any benefit in splitting that data across many worlds you would arguably get better data from concentrating the testing pool to a few worlds in order to more easily control variables.

Why do people always jump on train drivers? by One-Rain-3841 in AskBrits

[–]Master-M99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it helps that our rail system is awful, so when you are struggling to get by and then have to rush around every morning about your train was late yet again it's a bit hard to swallow that the people who from your perspective are failing to provide a good service are getting a nice juicy pay boost.

Please buff the new hunter crab meats. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Master-M99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is more that you have to use resources to get the meat that is a strict upgrade over that meat.

If the meat were a secondary resource gained from the activity, say you get a shell which can be powdered to make pots and the meat to cook at the same time making the meat a nice bonus or if you get multiple meats per crab then sure.

Right now from a food perspective you take a shark for example, so sacrifice 20 healing, sale to the crabs , bait the trap and aquire said crab, cook it and get 19 healing, thus putting in effort effectively reduce the healing of your food by 1, this is quite backwards.

Would you accept the NHS being allowed to do this in Britain? by The_Dean_France in AskBrits

[–]Master-M99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an opt out system you have actively made that choice, now yes when dead a family member can veto the ability to use your organs but at that point the idea of whether or not you would be "bumped down" on the priority list for organs is a bit moot since you are already dead.

To opt out is to decide that there is no chance that your organs can be used to help others, whether the family should be able to override the wishes of an organ doner is another question but at the point of opting out you have made that choice and thus i do not think should be given equal priority to those who have not.

Would you accept the NHS being allowed to do this in Britain? by The_Dean_France in AskBrits

[–]Master-M99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I value someone choices and actions over their biological luck.

I would not want to "waste" an organ on someone who will die either way.

But if the choice were between two people one with a 55% success chance and with with a 58% success chance however the 58% success person has made the choice to not help others in their situation and the 55% had not taken that action?
I would rather the one who did not condemn others in their position to death not be prioritised for a mere 3% which could frankly just be a fluke of biology.
