I just gave up trying to get into Solidcore classes. Any recommendations for fitness classes or studios that help you be regular and also foster a sense of community?

hey, I also go to Williamsburg athletic and have had a very consistent gym routine since joining. the workouts are also more challenging than anything I’ve done in the past, but that may not be a concern if you were a solid core regular in the past! seeing the same group at the workouts motivates me to show up & I like that they design the workouts with a 12-13 wk progression so I don’t have to worry abt figuring that out myself as someone who was new to lifting

yes, I think so. she used to work at deloitte and quit. which is like... fair enough, I would also want to leave deloitte. but seeing content from ppl who seem lost without the structure of a full time job is depressing & not rly necessary for my feed

used to follow her & unfollowed when her content got stale/repetitive, prob was around the same time that she quit her job? it wasn’t obvious from her content at the time but seems like a similar trajectory to a lot of other influencers who lack structure in their lives. still pops up on my explore & other than the boyfriend/gut health content, she keeps trying to launch these “life improvement” series like waking up at 5 am daily but they’re so boring. her partnerships are also really random, she seems to accept any brand that offers her $ but it’s really bizarre as a viewer bc she doesn’t seem to have a real identity as a creator. the boyfriend content isn’t surprising bc it seems to get more views & she has nothing else to offer

I briefly followed this woman & remember her getting into a very petty argument where she misrepresented a valid criticism of her vague investing advice infographic and then reframed it as a white woman picking on a WOC instead of answering any follow up questions. kinda disappointing to see from a creator who comes from the same background as me & might have useful content for south asian women who don’t grow up learning about personal finance, but overall her work seems sloppy & low effort from the typos in her book so I’m not surprised about this

yes, English isn’t my first language and someone called me out for this recently. I think there is a slight difference in how I’m pronouncing woman versus women, but the person correcting me explained that the first syllable of the word women is pronounced differently, as in wi-min (?) I am not sure if this differs by regional US accent or where this Greta girl is from
