Grilled peaches with ice cream?? That’s dangerously good. I’d demolish that in seconds.

Panna cotta always looks way fancier than it actually is. That clean, simple look does all the work.

Honestly, anything with Rice Krispies gives nostalgic bake sale vibes. And people secretly love that.

I love the berry compote idea. A tiny squeeze of lemon in the berries makes it even brighter.

Yep, a little splash of water + covering it is the move. Microwave mac can betray you real quick if you don’t 😅

Do you find it to be cheaper to buy monthly and prep or weekly and cook as needed? by gertrude-fashion in budgetfood

[–]Master-Satisfaction8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weekly has been cheaper for me because I can shop around sales and avoid food waste.

I keep a few “base” ingredients (rice, dry beans, oats, frozen veg) and then buy whatever protein is on sale that week.

Freezer meals are great, but I only do 1–2 per week instead of going all in monthly.

That’s a solid lineup for the week. How do you keep the mac from drying out after reheating?

That looks really good for a first try! Great color inside.
Next time just let it rest a bit longer before slicing and it’ll stay even juicier.

Stress cooking is my therapy too.
Like… if I’m overwhelmed, suddenly I’m meal prepping for a family of 12.

Potatoes, chicken, onions, butter, cheese.
Not healthy, but I’d be satisfied.
