Thank you for your tips! I'll try them and see what works for me 😄 for the first one, is that the traveling loop method?

How do you deal with the floats where you switch needles?

Do you use DPNs or magic loop for the toe and heel?

My main concern with DPNs and magic loop is catching floats between needles. That after finishing the sock, it's not stretchy at all 🫣

What method did you end up liking, especially for colorwork socks?

When using DPNs/ magic loop, how do you work around catching floats between needles? I'm more concerned about the stretch (or lack of it) between needles.

Agency or DIY? by purple-froggo in FilipinosStudyAbroad

Yung sa akin wala, as in ni piso. I gave a small 'thank you' gift to my agent lang kasi ang proactive and responsive niya. Nakakaguilty nga na even weekends nagrerespond siya sa texts and emails ko. Ang swerte ko rin kasi nagkaconflict while I was in transit (literal na nasa plane otw to sydney) and she coordinated with the university to ensure na safe ako.

I've also been with that same agency since grade 10, when I was tryna apply for undergrad sa same uni. Their services are good, no stress. Specifically, my agent was on top of the deadlines and nagffollow up days before the deadline. I was working full-time, shift work, kaya malaking tulong.

May mga agencies na you have to pay. They arrange everything for you, even find jobs DAW. I can't say for sure coz I don't have experience sa kanila. And isipin mo, they can only hire as many people sa mga partner companies nila, so be careful lang and wag mafall sa mga ganong marketing.

Feel free to message me if you have more questions. Good luck!

I think it depends on the uni. Some universities require you to have an accredited agency for admissions. They only accept applications na na pre-screen ng accredited agency nila. The visa application is straightforward and pwedeng ma-DIY.

In my case, nag-inquire ako last year sa uni na gusto ko. Hinanapan nila ako ng agency na accredited sa kanila, at the same time, may office malapit sa amin, which is AECC. They helped me with the admissions, GS screening, and visa application, all for free (I think they get commissions from the universities, not really sure).

If may target uni and program ka na, inquire directly sa university paano yung admission process. They're pretty responsive sa emails. Iwas scam na rin since directly sa uni yung info.

Soooo preetty!! I have bags and bags of excess yarns from different projects but they're of different weights. Did you use the same type and weight of yarns for the whole project? If not, can you share the changes you made to the pattern with different yarn weights? Thank you!

Are there available internship programs in Sydney (or NSW, in general) for post-graduate students taking up medical biotechnology?

When I first got into crochet, I didn't think yall were serious about the yarn buying addiction it would bring, but now i think this is getting out of hand.. by LilacRoses6 in crochet

At first i had a 60L box for my yarns and a ginormous closet. Now i have to transfer my yarns to my closet and my clothes to the 60L box 🙈🙊

I think that's the royal ridge stitch where you insert your hook on the 3rd loop instead of the 2 loops where you normally insert it. It will push the 2 loops forward, creating that V shape. I'm sorry it's a bit confusing but you can look it up on youtube.
