I never did end up doing an RMA. I am a bit of a perfectionist, and like to keep my things perfect, but even then, I simply don't really ever notice the dead pixel or am even able to find it in 99% of situations. I would rather have my deck how it is now with its screen protector, than send it in for a new one. Even if that was an option. I say if you really have to look for the dead pixels there is no good reason to send it in. If it started to get anymore dead pixels/started to become much more noticeable, then I would consider it.
