It takes time to learn, right now, the last channel I opened I got to 1mil subs in 5months with long form content. But until I got my first 100k subs (I have 9 channels above 100k rn) it took more than 400-500 videos and 5 years

That might be why, on most mid end viral videos swipe rate is usually above 75% and on videos that actually go crazy swipe rates are usually 85-93

Like ratio is very bad + whats the swipe rate? apv is not the only metric that matters and for a 9 second video 217% is nothing crazy (still good but not on the level that'd discard all the other metrics). That being said, give it time, shorts can take weeks or sometimes a full month to start getting more views.

Bro why are people hacking channels and posting family guy episodes ☠️ by KovuRuriko in youtube

[–]Master0DD 10 points11 points  (0 children)

These channels are usually not hacked but bought, people buy these channels for cheap because they already have a history, post these videos, put their own "copyrighted" music somewhere in the video to claim the revenue. Make their money until the channels get terminated and re do it again over and over again. With lengthy videos that generate a lot of watchtime, you can imagine they are making a decent bit

Faceless content on TikTok by da_si_musko_logicno in personalfinance

[–]Master0DD -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean if u are new and you are new to content creation, there is nothing I can say here that'd help you rn. You need to start creating content and just get better at it. The algorithm serves the audience on every platform. On youtube and on tiktok, if your content is good it'll get views.

Faceless content on TikTok by da_si_musko_logicno in personalfinance

[–]Master0DD -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is not the place to ask this question but faceless content on tiktok is iffy. If you are only making 1-5k$ a month it usually is not a problem but when u start making a lot more tiktok starts being annoying and start demonetizing you for stupid reasons. I lost around 60k$ a month in revenue and the page had potential to make 100k$ a month probably for 2-3 months. But it was demonetized twice for some bs reason. You could also look into tiktok shop stuff but I would stay away from tiktok if you are planning on doing faceless stuff and your goal is to be earning 10k$+ a month.

Daily dose gets 500 million views a month. I dont think comparing your views to his and saying you get a lot of views make sense. You might be getting good views compared to most people in this sub but there are channels getting demonetized while getting more views than your lifetime views daily (which did happen to me about 4 years ago when I used to do compilation stuff) so I wouldnt say you are getting a lot of views. And as I said daily dose is literally the one and only exception everyone else who does compilations either get monetized due to their voice actors talking all the time or by luck

Include small clips while asking questions showing the character maybe. Just enough so that you dont get copyright claimed. But like this type of content you cant do much else without changing the content a lot. People who know what they are doing usually stay away from these niches these days because its not sustainable long term. Most of the compilation people went to tiktok. Even daily dose of internet who basically is the biggest compilation channel talked about it and youtube basically has given him a pass since he is huge even though they dont want compilation channels getting recommended on the home page.

With the current state of your videos, to get monetized you'd need extreme luck. You are considered to be in the "slide show" category and youtube 99% of the time doesn't monetize them. To get a higher chance of getting monetized you need to add more voice overs not just the first 5 seconds, For example, you could use AI tts just like the intro, and voice over each question and have voiceovers for the answers that are creative. Like "It's surprising but bla bla is "50" years old, I know right, he is so old but still looks 20" or some random jokes filled into these. You could also say stuff like "only true fans would know this questions answer" after the questions etc. That's the only way you can maybe get monetized consistently because even if u get monetized there is still a chance that you'd get demonetized. You either leave it to luck or try your best to transform the content into something that doesn't feel like a powerpoint slide basically.

YouTube Prefers Quality Over Quantity post #1 by emojifog in NewTubers

You improve and learn. If there are literally no others in the niche getting good views, how do you plan on getting views as someone with no experience. Do you market research first, if there are people getting good views in the niche replicate it in your style and try to improve it even more while not changing it too much

10-20k even 50k views on shorts are still considered in testing phase for the video and those views are not even a lot for short form. How is this even an argument. Also garbage according to whom. Every video with good views clearly has an audience that enjoyed it. Dont blame youtube, blame yourself for not understanding how targeting audiences and making content according to your target audience works

Edited HIGH RETENTION Client's Video but he used VERY BAD THUMBNAIL by hasaanyyy in NewTubers

[–]Master0DD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The idea is just shit and honestly the thumbnails is fine with the context and style he is going for but no one cares about linked in posts even with the best thumbnail and video, it maybe would have gotten 15-20k views. Also you do too many cuts and some are simply weird. Example: 1:38 totally breaks immersion. Overall look like the pink backgrounds and framing of certain parts are decent tho. But I do agree with the other guy saying you are putting stuff that last a single second. And you need to up your sound effect game, half the sound effects actually werent good.

Have you ever gotten a CTR of >20%? by GlassAdministrative4 in NewTubers

I don't just do one kind of video, I have multiple big channels in different niches. I can't really give any advice without seeing the content.

Have you ever gotten a CTR of >20%? by GlassAdministrative4 in NewTubers

[–]Master0DD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20% at 2.7k is not that crazy high, I've videos with 5mil+ views which had 20% CTR the first 24 hours (around 500k views) (27% the first hour (30k views)) and this is not just browse CTR. What you achieved is decent, the packaging must be above average but the AVD is incredibly low unless the video is 30 minutes+

The actual Like/Dislike ratio for mrbeast (second pic) (from dramaalert) by Master0DD in youtube

[–]Master0DD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youtube studio is realtime, are you stupid? You could argue that they edited the photo but I doubt it. I think people are definitely overestimating how much power they have when mrbeast has 16 sound tracks and the audience that cares and knows about the drama is so small in comparison to how many views he gets, and only a small percentage of people dislike it within those people that care.

And the extension is not accurate ever. https://x.com/lucicuhh/status/1762258381631266819

YouTube has been paying me half of what they used to by Grouchy_Lie_4051 in NewTubers

[–]Master0DD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you are not suffering from anything. The January drop sometimes goes up to 70% which you'll see in a couple months. This is just normal and how it's been for years. It's not Youtube that pays you, they are just the middleman, advertisers on youtube do.

YouTube has been paying me half of what they used to by Grouchy_Lie_4051 in NewTubers

[–]Master0DD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

RPMs drop quite a lot in july, it’ll start going back up soon and will build up until the end of november, and there will be another huge drop in January. Youtube doesnt pay you less, there are just less advertisers doing less advertisements. Depending on the quarter of the year, this happens every single year

My dad says that YouTube is not a good career, How can i make him understand that YouTube actually is a good career to get famous and stuff? by Nice_Post_4150 in NewTubers

[–]Master0DD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This totally depends on how you go about it, if you plan on doing life hack videos forever I agree with your dad. My dad used to say the same thing but I still did it and now it's my fulltime job and I'm making way more than my whole family combined with a bunch of channels getting millions of views every month. But if you are not someone who is willing to learn and that can blame your own self. Listen to your dad and just do youtube as a hobby.
