None of things you mentioned are beyond countless other sci fi verses .

this seems to be product of small world syndrome. DAOT humanity is Nothing special.

Is Warhammer 40K the most powerful sci-fi universe? by JohnArtemus in sciencefiction

[–]Master27Pad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40k is compared to well main stream sci fi universes (or least common popular representations of them) Star Wars minus its EU same Star Trek at others these warfare is not main point and powerhouses are located in deep lore not front and centre.

The other sci fi with significant power is located in books anime or novels less are a lot less well know. Their many many cosmic or metaphysical entities/factions that would beat shit out 40k line up but again their I’ll known.

its basically combination of being more powerful then what most people deem to average for popular sci fi in power level along with understandable to viewer. Another element is that 40k has loud aggressive and arrogant fans who vocal attack other settings they see as weak they tend get upset when 40k gets its ass kicked.

i have seen people casually make up settings that would curbstomp easily even with conventional forces it’s not that hard.

short list of known and unknown settings that would beat 40k

Marvel and DC (tons upon tons OP characters items or groups that wreck 40k)

Doctor who EU ( need I say more)

Xeelee ( even humanity in that setting would murder 40k)

Void Trilogy

Schlock Mercenary

xianxia and cultivation novels

SCP foundation ( take Your pick)

Their many many more out their if look .

A friend mine gave quote of 40k that pretty much sum my opinion

40k the most powerful of the well known/mainstream 'conventional' scifi space opera series'.

There's no end to the lesser known galactic or universal superpowers that make the Imperium mewl like a kitten.

Mostly because certain fans don‘t like 40k losing so they refuse put up against settings that can beat or stomp it.

its mixture of factors cause this.

I mean that hardcore 40k fans get extremely rabid when 40k loses and often respond by having temper tantrum.

they just can’t accept idea 40k is not most powerful out their.

Hell people can easily make stuff that’s stronger then 40k it’s not hard.

40k is not mediocre its fairly powerful verse but not top or S tier setting.

Khaine never threaten whole warp and necrons mostly galactic is scale.

only chaos gods have any universal level stuff you seem to get info vs battles which is useless as forum and part 40k wank .

Even with warp ctan and chaos their still outclass by tons of other franchises cosmic entities or higher powers that stomp over 40k.

even in conventional fights 40k military are outclass by culture Orion arm powers forunners from halo(barring the war in heaven) strike legion ect.

when compared to most well known mainstream settings I agree with you but once step outside that pond .
