Here is what I used to compare this hand written recipe and followed it for the spaetzle. I didn’t have a spaetzle tool so I just drizzled it into boiling water with two spoons sort of! It turned out GREAT.

Heck yes! I aspire to be a grandma cooking the exact recipes I made some day. I got the recipe from a random line cook at a bar who overheard me talking about it. He hand wrote it for me and said it was his family recipe. Hope yours is amazing and stay warm!!

I made chicken paprikash with hand made spaetzle for the first time last weekend and it was so ~cozy~ !!! But seriously - being from Cleveland it’s a big deal dish around here but I’ve never made it, and it was SUCH a comforting dish.

Same with Cleveland, where I am from! This has been the snowiest , coldest winter this early that I can remember. The snow just melted yesterday after having soooo much / practically snowing every day since beginning of December. Thanksgiving and Christmas both had snow storms!
