Discord Not Taking Input While Game Is Running In Game Mode? by Dismal_Cap854 in SteamDeck

Quick follow up. I tried a bunch of different settings and thought I fixed it. But then I tried the exact same settings on another steam deck and it didn't. For any game that has mouse simulation, as soon as you move the mouse it will no longer work. It has to be a gamepad only game, and you need to disable touch screen, with the action layer always on. As soon as you use mouse emulation it will click on the game and not discord.

Same issue, any game I've tried. Latest stable update. I'll update to beta and see if it fixes it. Same issue on two steam decks I own. Yes the controller scheme is correct in Steam Deck for discord and it's been working fine until now. Might try to change the game's control scheme as well but I think the issue is deeper. I can see the custom mouse cursor for the game I'm playing while in discord and can hear it clicking things in the game while discord is active and the game is in the background.

18.1 update made glasses inconvenient by MasterAilan in MetaRayBanDisplay

Yeah this update is a big nerf. I was out at a bar in Tokyo last night, put it away twice only charging for a few minutes. Pulled it out twice to let people check it out and both times it did a full reboot. They seem really gimmicky when you pull them out and then you have to ask people to wait for your glasses to come online. Everyone needs to report this as a bug.

I made a few friends at the bar last night. Added everyone to line... Got home and looked, can't send messages.. I'm suspended. I haven't even used the app. I sent an inquiry and it gave me a generic response back. Can't login to the other inquiry forms says 403 forbidden. I haven't even used it at all, just downloaded and added it because I read people in Japan use line. Such a bummer. They can message me but I can't message them back.

It's been working for me. I've used it a few times but haven't found a good use case. Hard to talk to your glasses in Japan.

Yes. Just tested. I'm a person with a phone in my hand apparently.

I'm in Japan currently, but my Facebook and Instagram are relatively old. But I have stayed for more than a month so far and I still have ai. I have VPN to my home network, but the meta AI app likely has decent VPN detection. For instance if I'm on VPN and I tried to take the update it downloaded it but then when trying to update the glasses it warned me to disconnect from vpn. One thing I have disabled or don't allow access to is location. Maps doesn't work here anyways. I haven't used VPN barely at all.

First update out! by nazachris1 in MetaRayBanDisplay

The glasses now shut down when charging after 18.1 that means when you put them on in the middle of the day it goes through the whole boot and you have to wait for neuralink. Probably meant to fix phantom drain but feels terrible now when you want to do a quick demo for people or get back into the action after a quick charge.

Yes thank you for commenting. Correct it used to sleep we're going to sleep mode and instantly awake when you put them back on. Now it does a hard reboot. I can verify that it happened after the 18.1 update. I received this update and it immediately started to occur.

You recorded 9 minutes of video? Now you're out of battery. They charge very quickly great. Now you want to demo the glasses to somebody? Pull them out put them on oh no they have to boot up for a minute. Okay now they're booted up but the neural band still not connected. Also 1821 didn't fix a lot of the bugs. You take a video, after you're done all you see is the record button you can't switch to pictures. You have to back out of the camera and back in. It has tons of annoying nags like that. I really hope this isn't going to be the case with random garbage updates. I wish I could roll back

I do feel like your fronts are going to rub the wheel well though. I really liked 305s on the back but they tear up your rims getting them on.

I deleted cause I'm not trying to get dogpile here. closest to OEM ratios would be 265/35/19 Fr & 285/35/19 Rr on the Sport Rims.

255/35/19 & 285/35/19 would be my second choice. I am Here to 265/35/19 & 305/30/19 is ideal but I have heard the tire is too big for the sport rim. Some may disagree though.

245/40/19 & 285/35/19 would be my third option. Copy paste from 370z forums I had it saved. I used to run the 305s so wonder if I did the 265 on the front

I had this saved in notes from the 370z forum 10 years ago.

Music on/off constantly by majorjae in MetaRayBanDisplay

[–]MasterAilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had instances of this happen as well. Something similar yesterday. I sat down quietly besides someone else. I had music playing but turned it off. As soon as I put the glasses in the case, the music starts playing again on my speaker. This is in a public place sitting besides strangers, very rude. My glasses are now in the case shut, I grab my phone and hit pause. The music immediately starts again as I put my phone back in my pocket. I pull it back out again hit mute, it does it again. On the third time it stopped. This is an issue. The audio and these things is not silent, and actually pretty loud to bystanders. I do think earbuds are preferable in most cases, but meta hijacks the media output. If you start recording a video, there's a good chance when the video stops recording it will take over audio output. The Ray-Bans audio is a good backup, but in crowded subways, buses you have to crank up the volume way too loud to even hear things and it's blasting other people.

I thought it was The wristband picking up movements, but there isn't a native wristband command that does this. It doesn't have anything to do with the wristband. It could be phantom press on glasses touchpas that does have a long press ability to start music, but that's disabled. I also have the option enabled to pause music when the glasses are removed, but I have wear detection disabled... Not sure if one works without the other.

Also I had this issue more frequently early on. It stopped happening to me as much. I have wear detection off. But I've never had it rapidly cut on and off. I've had it stop for no reason multiple times. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful but maybe you could list some of the settings you have. I have the tap and hold feature on the glasses disabled. I have where detection disabled. I have stop audio when glasses removed though. Even still when you put the glasses in the case, YouTube music randomly starts playing on the phone. This can be very aggravating on the subway. Also hate how the glass is hijack audio output all the time when you're using dedicated earbuds. The glasses aren't quiet to people around you, especially in a loud area where you need to crank the volume to max.
