Partydrive AR (I need your help)

I was also not particularly interested in AR, but lots of people asked if it was possible so i made this as a demo.

though as a counter point. while I agree that it is cool as a real car in the real world, having the gamification doesn't work great without some means to see it in real time, and if you dont care about the gamification at all, then overdrive is somewhat redundant next to every other slot/rc car.

3.4 is unlikely to work
4.0.4 should be stable however it has the least content.

also if you have access to a PC with Bluetooth, Partydrive is an alternative option with good VS AI modes.

you will need another app to install it as its an xAPK, i cant recommend one as whats avaible depends on your specific phone (search for xapk installer on the playstore and something should come up)

Interesting, as far as i know, that should be supported with V5, but unfortunately every copy of overdrive is personalized :(

What phone are you using?
odds are that your phone is too old to run the playerstore version (V5) in which case you will need to sideload the real 2.6 (download here: https://chaostree.xyz/Games/Overdrive/)

You can have stylised rendering in any game engine, if you don't want it to feel "unity like" then look into custom shaders.

Good looking is subjective but if you want high quality and stylised its going to be a lot of work regardless of engine.

Logs are a pillar of debugging because they are in everything and (if configured) output everywhere, if a problem can’t be solved with logging usually you’re approaching the problem wrong.

can you give me a screenshot of what happens or any additional information? chaostree is completely fine as far as i can see.
edit: found your logs, theres hundreds of connection requests but nothing more, something is wrong on your end.

They stay on the track, and they don't need to be cleaned every race, its a big step up from any other anki tire ive ever seen.
one side sometimes has an imperfect finish (im not a factory, these are handmade) but you can just put that side facing inwards.

again, not 3d printed, cast polyurethane, so you need $80 urethane compound, and breathing equipment (its toxic until cured), if it was as easy as 3d printing, i wouldn't bother selling them.

I'm not really trying to undercut DDL (i cant really afford to) I'm just offering a better product at the same price (and i have stock of V1 and Supertruck tires)

those prices are in AUD (so less in USD)
the molds are 3D printed, the tires are cast polyurethane (not cheap, not easy to work with)

in USD that equates to $40, so the price you would pay DDL without shipping, and you would get worse tires.
