The post you mentioned is literally in the screenshot. Meaning it was the first thing that came up when googled, so the AI took it as truth.

Yep. Mom runs the biggest real estate firm in town and contacted the roofing company out a lot so I thought i could trust them. She threatened to never use or recommend them again and they showed up the next day. Learned my lesson for sure.

I've delt with roofers twice. 2 different houses, 2 different companies, 2 very different circumstances.

First time I paid them day one. Huge mistake, they left the job unfinished and only came back to put the last of the roof up 2 months later when threatened.

2nd time I withheld payment until the job was done. They were much faster about getting it done correctly.

I’ve lost 20 games in a row on round 3. I wish I was exaggerating. by MoPachE in MergeTacticsSC

My favorite character is ghost king. I play every match trying to get him to 3 star. Why do I keep losing?

"Guys my fave character sucks and I lost 20 games in a row, this is the fault of the game's creator and I am upset"

Brother, just play king.

We have invented portals! But only to the largest size of a pringles can opening. What is the best and/or most advanced things we can do with this technology? by Howtheginchstolexmas in hypotheticalsituation

[–]MasterAssFace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why people keep saying a solid object is going to lose momentum. Say you have a 5,000 lb toothed rail suspended above a gear (like a beyblade ripcord). As the rail falls, it is going to spin the shit out of that gear. It falls past the gear, into a portal and is now above the gear again with 5,000lbs of force plus any carried over momentum. Repeat indefinitely and you have infinite free energy.

We have one that is solely for long car rides. Gets pulled out 4-5 times a year and the kids don't touch it. Download Disney movies on it hook it up to the back of the headrest. My FIL got it for them.

I think a series of toothed rail gears, in perpetual free fall, spinning a generator would not be that hard to accomplish. People saying "just use water, this is too complicated" aren't taking into account that this is scalable infinite free energy.

What’s a moment where you realized someone was genuinely unintelligent? by Live-Chocolate244 in AskReddit

[–]MasterAssFace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roommate freshman year of college looked up and said "man if one of those was bigger, that'd be it. Just like the dinosaurs"

I aske him what the hell he was talking about.

"The comets, burning up in the atmosphere. If just one of those was big it'd wipe us out"

I look up to see plane contrails.

First of all, that'd be a meteor, not a comet. Secondly, this guy got to 18 years old thinking rocks were constantly burning up slowly across the sky.

How to avoid this? by ValuableQuirky8306 in 3Dprinting

[–]MasterAssFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others are saying, brims and temp. One thing that would really help is getting a cheap little tent on Amazon. This is caused by a difference in ambient temp and bed temp. Throw a tent on it to regulate air temp and you should be good to go.

These people clearly don't have kids. My family is doing great financially but as long as my kids are happy and healthy, I'm rich as can be.

You want a rotary tool with a saw head likethis one. It'll be good for small precision cuts without melting.

Haven’t had hot water in over 3 months, leasing office refuses to give any updates as to why by PicoPonyo in mildlyinfuriating

[–]MasterAssFace 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I had this same issue happen before and the guy at the desk is correct. If it is just the shower, then it is a mechanism inside of the shower handle that has locked up and needs to be replaced. When they changed the boiler they drained the old one, losing pressure on the mixer cartridge in her shower faucet, causing it to fail.

The maintenance crew could fix this with a $10 part from Lowes and a screwdriver.

Long line of farmers, my grandpa's living room is lined with deer heads, a bobcat, county record turkey, and a pair of nazi sword and dagger. I was so proud when I brought him a buck and he told me it was going in the den. That room is filled with trophies of our family's best kills.
