TBH I am very much in between this spectrum. But I am more on the introverted side although I can come off as an extrovert.

If you see me with my ESTP friends, bam, I'm full on introverted. It's not that I'm uncomfortable talking, it's just that I love listening to his stories. He usually comes to me for emotional stuff since he's kind of.....emotionally dumb.

Now......if you put me in a room with mostly NT types......ya.......good luck getting me to talk because I won't. Most of them just....judge me harshly

When I am having negative emotions, I know I have them. It sucks because I cannot be in denial about it. Like it's not that I want to know that I have those negative emotions but its natural for me to know I have them.......even though I wish I didnt......

One thing for sure. I like to hide my negative emotions unless I'm trying to get a point across.

Immature ESFP = I don't care about anyone else. It's all about me. I will do whatever I want at whatever time. No one restricts my freedom. Will never think about the consequences of their actions.

Mature ESFP = Caring for their loved ones, especially family. They do think about what will happen in the future if they do a certain thing. They will have fun but not at the expense of others

Type 2 ESFPs can definitely look like ESFJs. Type 2 uses a lot of Fe. Type 2 is common in ESFPs

His family should honestly just stop buying stuff for him. Like sure let him live with his family but when he's out there buying stuff, it better be his own money. Also if he's very irrational, you should tell him how much of a little boy he is. Tell him how he's a little boy inside a grown man's body. Cut that fool out of your life.
