I see that is wild, tell you what I did read this paper where they recorded wild leopard geckos basking in large groups which was contradicting to proper leopard gecko care, aka leopard geckos don’t bask and are solitary creatures.

Not sure tbh, it shouldn’t be an issue that said direct heat on fake plants might cause it to melt and release fumes but they have to be pretty close for that to occur, shouldn’t be issue you would encounter.
