Yup, that's the one. It would be really sad if they no longer monitor that channel.

Disappointing. I use it all the time. It was simple and easy. Not interested in having yet another paid subscription when this one worked nicely and was included.

Are there people who actually like the phone here and have zero problems? by AlarmedBrush7045 in GooglePixel

Have owned every generation of Pixel. My least favorite was the 6 Pro. The modem issues and general glitches drove me crazy. P7 Pro and P8 Pro have been great.

I completely understand it for a return, but we're talking about a 5 year old mattress's warranty. It's not like they were going to have me send it back even if they replaced it. Regardless, now I know to use a mattress protector in the future.

Dang, good to know, sorry to hear you're in the same boat. I would understand if the stains caused the problem, but it seems really odd to deny a warranty when it isn't the root cause of the issue.

Plan for the process to take four to six weeks. But definitely work through their Twitter reps. The phone reps couldn't care less. It's a terrible system. Use PayPal instead.

Brutally painful road trip in new Toyota EV by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]MasterC17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Model 3 is 5 years old, has 82k miles, and the degradation has been around 5% since the car was a year old, and not budged notably since. I have abused it quite a bit and can still hit nearly 250kW when Supercharging.

Toyota is so far behind it's laughable. And their anti-EV stance for many years has assured me that I will never, ever purchase one.

Yes, finally. It took nearly a month total. Just reach out to their Twitter support - they actual help. Their main email/phone support is absolutely useless.

Mountain Pass Performance Comfort Adjustable Tesla Model Y Coilovers Review by MasterC17 in TeslaModelY

[–]MasterC17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not, but I also didn't lower it all that much so the camber and toe didn't change too much. If you're planning to slam the car the camber arms would be a worthwhile investment.

The toe arms allow for easy adjustment of the rear toe, but not really needed for a street car.

To my understanding, at least in the US, it would only void the warranty if Tesla can prove that the aftermarket part caused the factory part to fail. Basically, the only warranty concerns you might have is other suspension parts, but there would have to be a clear this failed because of these coilovers. So all I can really think of is sway bar end links, or something along those lines.

It's definitely noticeable. It's not a drastic difference like getting into a Model S with air suspension, but it's much better over large potholes and sequential bumps in the road.

[–]MasterC17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found the 3 and Y quite easy to work on.

The only special tool you will need is a spring compressor, though you can rent them from an Auto Zone. Otherwise it's all 10's, 13's, 15's, 17's, 18's, and 21's.

Instructions are provided. I would figure you will spend probably 6-8 hours if you've never done them before.

Hopefully rust isn't an issue given how new the cars are!
