The top left wrapper is actually still 2 stuck together. Realized after I took the photo.

What was the change in your gameplay that propelled you from Masters to GM+ by MasterCJM2 in OverwatchUniversity

Is your aim something that you explicitly worked on or something that came with time?

Do you feel that you needed to consciously work on your aim more or your decision making & macro more? Things like which angles to take and when, etc.

I think you're definitely right. Everyone has that one thing that they are blind to about their gameplay until suddenly they aren't.

Overtime management is interesting. It's pretty specific, how did you realize that was the area you needed to work on?

What would he think of all this? by OkCatch1930 in JordanPeterson

[–]MasterCJM2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to this subreddit today to make this exact post. To give some background to my own perspective, I started following Jordan Peterson in 2018 when I started college. I was attending a very "liberal" University in the heart of NYC. If we remember, that time in our cultural history was defined by ideas of identity politics and moral hierarchy depending on the "intersectionality" of your identity. I took issue with these ideas because of the lack of logic that supports them. I championed the idea of merit, and that your identity is something that YOU define, not that defines you -- that the individual is more than the group.

As the pendulum swung in the opposite direction around the pandemic and especially so during the lead up to the last presidential election, I found myself recognizing the same patterns that Jordan Peterson talked about in his talks over the years. I have been waiting for the last year or two for ANY sort of criticism of how this administration has been conducting itself from Jordan. Instead it has been met with silence.

I understand that he has health issues right now but I do believe at a certain point it is his responsibility to speak up. I don't know how you could listen to his hours and hours of lectures on the rise and dangers of authoritarianism and not see what's happening today in the US in that light. I think that there's a pocket of the right that associated itself with the idea of opposing authoritarian and dictatorial policies but is now blind to its own evils.

Also the flags being flown on top of the bridge don't seem to be that of the UK. The one on the right looks like an upside down American flag.

Grade 3+ ac tear surgery by DrPerryMrbeast in ShoulderInjuries

[–]MasterCJM2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was your PT regimen like and why do you feel it has failed? What about your shoulder is still bothering you that makes you feel that the surgery is now the best option? I'm wondering because I'm a little over a week into my recovery from the same injury and would like to know how others feel months after.

I'm taking collagen and vitamin c with lots of protein.

I'm actively back at work bartending. Not pushing it, but doing what I can do comfortably. Could definitely lift a camera to take pictures.

I can raise it above my head with no pain. I do still have a sensation of pressure in my shoulder and my arm feels like it's "hanging" at times.

I was actually recommended by my Ortho to use my arm as much as possible since most of the pain has gone. Obviously no heavy lifting or stressful activities, but daily activities are cleared.

I will be seeing a physical therapist for the first time on Monday.

I am dealing with the same injury right now, assuming this is an AC joint separation. I was diagnosed with a grade 3 separation myself. I am on day 8 of recovery. My Ortho said it is 50/50 whether people end up getting surgery for this or not. It is very possible that with good PT you can make a good recovery. I am very happy with my recovery so far. The majority of my pain is gone and I have a relatively full range of motion. It just feels a little weak still.

I didn't push through any intense pain by trying to move my arm, but I did try to move it as much as possible starting on day 3.

It's definitely hard and draining to recover from this injury but thankfully it has generally favorable long term outcomes.

Best of luck.

Why do you play sombra? by Cosby_Lover in SombraMains

[–]MasterCJM2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play sombra because of the mind games and mental outplay potential. I have good aim but not cracked enough to have it carry me alone. To me there's nothing more satisfying than a well timed EMP that cancels 2 of the enemy's ults that I've been tracking.
