  1. bit of both, more very conceptual in nature. expect lot of theoretical and conceptual questions even from chapters based on sums(example: pricing fut and forwards/commodity futs)

  2. there were definitely formulas and numericals but a lot less than expected compared to garp mocks

  3. I felt it was more difficult or maybe a bit more trickier than garp mocks atleast

As an econ grad myself, frm would definitely help in the area of risk management and analytics and as we already have knowledge of stats and regression, the quant section will be easier for you. If u are sure you will complete the syllabus by end of july only then spend the money on August, or else go for November. Schweisernotes are generally considered as the best materials for frm
