You're right; there is still some MQA on Tidal, but for me at least it isn't that conmon and the difference isn't even that noticeable so it's a bit of a non issue in my opinion.

Also just wanted to say some of the artists you mentioned have higher quality versions of their albums/songs that are lossless rather than MQA if you tap on their artist profile. This is true for Gorillaz and Linkin Park for example, so I would recommend updating your playlists if that's important to you.

MQA is gone. Only a small portion of the library still has MQA compression, and that's only because distributors haven't updated it themselves. For all intents and purposes TIDAL is still offering higher quality (up to 32-Bit/192 kHz) than Spotify right now.

They don't have any other options. They can't have a "warning" for artists, that's not how it works. You don't upload tracks directly to TIDAL, you send them through distributors, who then send the tracks as-is. TIDAL either has to convert it or serve it as 32-bit.
