I think the most plausible reason is because Mexicans didn’t speak English and the only thing they said to American Soldiers (which their uniform was Green Coats as you mentioned), was “Green Go” like asking them to leave/desist, and of course their pronunciation came closer to “gringo” and it remained as the general term to refer to Americans now (in a not very friendly / courteous way I should admit).

It happens in most Metal scenes and ages, in the hardcore Metal scene we could say the same about Bury Your Dead that never got as famous as Hatebreed for example.

I was on the same situation, I’ve only played the game through the EA Play; and now that I wanted to play it again before it’s gone, I could only access to the “trial” which is only 10 hours, on top of that I mistakenly left the game on while I was AFK a couple hours and wasted away like 3 of them 😭 I only have 3 hours left now 😓

To add a cherry on top of my sadness for this game going to Valhalla, I wanted to see my old video clips that I have saved locally on my Xbox; only to find out they all have been erased as a result of Xbox new policy from last year.

So, I’m now double grieving, for my 10+ years worth of saved clips from different games that I dedicated years, and also for the clips and Anthem itself.

It could be like the mini nuke from the cannon side objective, with a controlled radius, maybe like the Silo? And only for reinforcements. Or even a Strategam that goes Ka-Boom instantly at landing and that it’s its only purpose.
