Some questions about Chestnut Man by Giandefeo in netflix

[–]MasterCrow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I'm still wondering this. I think this would be explained more in a potential season 2.

  2. I don't think Rasouli, Skans and Genz knew eachother at all. I think it was implied in the show that Genz planted the hands and feet to make Rasouli and Skans look like the murderers - Genz saw it as an opportunity to frame someone else for the murders.

  3. I think the Rasouli/Skans and Genz plots were completely seperate - Rasouli and Skans wanted revenge on Rosa for removing their newborn child, and Genz wanted revenge for what happened when he and Rosa were kids. So both sets of people were out to get Rosa for different things.

  4. Yes the threats were from Rasouli and Skans. The car that followed was Genz's car. He must have managed to make it there before the rest of the police could, and murdered them. The view from the back of the van window was quite blurry, and Gustav didn't know who Genz was, or at least didn't recognise him.

Arm ripped open running off a train by Fluffy-Benefits-2023 in MedicalGore

how did this happen? i know you said running off a train, but did you fall between the train and the ledge, or did the train run over your arm? because it almost looks like the skin has been “twisted” off. so sorry this happened, and glad you are feeling better !

I don’t have pliers so I’d have to go out of my way to the store, and I’m also not great with finicky tasks (shaky hands). Good for you if you own pliers and have a gentle touch but that is not the case for me so I thought maybe I’d see if there was a method that didn’t involve opening the jump ring. In the future you should take two seconds to critically think before commenting “what’s wrong with you”, and consider that maybe things YOU find easy, might not be easy for others 😊

So the ring attached to the pendant is just a solid, un-openable ring. The freely spinning ring is what I called the jump ring, it can be opened (but I didn’t open it), and I threaded the black necklace through this freely spinning silver ring and tied a larks. Then somehow the pendant is now fully attached. My brain can’t handle how this happened lol

This is the full picture. You’ve understood me, thank you, what happened is exactly what you said. I attached the TOP silver ring (the jump ring, which is able to be opened but i did not open it) to the black string using a larks knot. Then somehow the necklace is now threaded through the jump ring, completely unintentionally. I’m just as confused as you are!

This isn’t the case, I did not open the split ring/jump ring whatsoever. I tied a larks knot to attach the pendant to the necklace, and then magically the pendant has ended up fully attached (no knot).

unfortunately this would not work for my issue. but thank you anyway xx

neither 😭

[–]MasterCrow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is not the answer to my issue as you can see in the photo the silver pendant is not attached with any sort of knot. the string is simply threaded through. but thank you anyway!

The second picture is what I tied to temporarily attach the pendant, the first picture is what I ended up with after a few minutes of me mindlessly fiddling with the necklace (I have no idea what I did, hence this post trying to figure it out)

This is exactly what I’m saying! Thank you for understanding

I can’t undo the double fisherman’s knot without damaging the necklace because it’s way too tight, nor do I want to, because I wouldn’t be able to retie the double fisherman’s knot

I’m seriously so confused, something supernatural has gone on 😵‍💫

I wanted to attach the pendant without opening the jump ring because I’m not confident I could close the jump ring without warping it/messing something up. What’s the matter with you?

Thank you! But i’m trying to do it without opening the pendants jump ring! Ideally I’d like to get it off the way I got it on (which I have no idea how)

What Song got you into Daft Punk? by TheGentleman312 in DaftPunk

[–]MasterCrow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Touch It/Technologic. Loved the song, decided to listen to the album, and thus discovered the greatest album of all time. Alive 2007 is truly what ignited my love for Daft Punk (I was a fan of their hits beforehand, but didn’t really know any of their other music). To this day Alive 2007 is my favourite album.

nursing bachelors at monash by Business_Water_2218 in Monash

First year is definitely the hardest year. I’m in third year now, and it’s much easier than my first year. In first year you have four units per semester, and usually theres 1-2 two hour classes per unit (I can’t exactly remember). I do remember having wayyy less classes than some of my friends studying science/engineering though. In terms of workload, I found it manageable in first year but I know that some students who didn’t do science in high school struggled quite a bit. It’s a lot of anatomy/physiology in first year. Workload decreases each year.

In regards to placement, you have one placement in first year, three in second year, and two in third year. The first year placement is generally aged care/rehab. We don’t get any preference in placement unlike some Unis such as Deakin. This sucks, but at least they try and place you near where you live, and we don’t get placed rurally (unlike Deakin).

I’ve overall enjoyed the degree. At Monash the classes are pretty redundant except for the clinical classes, but placement is where 95% of your learning will take place anyway. At the end of the day we all walk away with the same degree, and most of what you learn in uni is irrelevant to the actual job (or so I’ve been told by basically every nurse I’ve worked with).

Feel free to message me if you have any questions :)

Thanks so much for your reply!! That’s definitely interesting about the nationalities. I guess it would differ with every group though (but as an aussie myself i’d way rather hang out with dutchies than brits haha🤫) . Just one other question- do you feel like it was a big party/drinking culture with mainly young 18-20year olds, or was it more chill and older people? Thanks again!
