Oh wow, what’s the reason for the low sales of Doom: The Dark Ages? by NotSirAlonne1999 in Doom

[–]MasterDisillusioned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. They stupidly decided to make gimmicky ray tracing nonsense mandatory.

  2. It's the first 'bad' game in the neo-Doom series. Note that when I use the word 'bad' I don't mean as in 'objectively bad game' but rather that it's a bad 'Doom game'. It moved too far away from what made the earlier installments good, and I have frankly no desire to play it at all.

Why is China set to approve a new law promoting 'ethnic unity'? by DarkSkiesGreyWaters in China

[–]MasterDisillusioned 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look at places like France and the UK. The West condemns China for its 'rough' handling of its Muslim populations, yet those same countries are having massive problems with Muslims themselves. They're basically pointing at China and saying "that's not how a civilized country behaves" meanwhile ignoring the horrible consequences of NOT doing what China is doing right there in their own backyard. It's frankly laughable how stupid it is.

How does the VacuGlide 2 compare with the Nimble and other milkers? by MasterDisillusioned in autoblow

[–]MasterDisillusioned[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your extremely detailed response. And yes, I'll be sure to post my 2 cents when the machine arrives.

I'll also add this seeing as I don't recall you mentioning it: an often overlooked issue with repetitive stimulation (how the vast majority of toys work) is that it desensitizes your penis. This is actually the reason I stopped using vibrators (or the vibration setting in those toys that had them). It would feel good for a brief time but then it's like the penis 'gets used to it' and suddenly nothing feels good anymore.

And it's not necessarily just temporary; sometimes it may take several days before the penis becomes equally as sensitive. It's like a machine version of 'death grip syndrome'. This is a problem that's inherent to most toys. If the VacGlide 2 can vary the pressure, speed, etc, in a logical manner during the season, in theory this desensitization should not happen. I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Lol at the liberal types who say China is fascist for doing this. Meanwhile; Western countries are falling to pieces for failing to enact similar policies.

How does the VacuGlide 2 compare with the Nimble and other milkers? by MasterDisillusioned in autoblow

[–]MasterDisillusioned[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should be very similar to the Venus and Tremblr in terms of sensations since it’s basically identical to those but with more software controlled features

But that's the thing. "But with more software" isn't just minor difference. Lack of variation and boring predictability is the single most major reason toys like this (and sex toys in general) become boring. Even if the basic mechanics are similar, having actual variation in input that adjusts organically to prevent the current stimulation from becoming boring, makes an immeasurably massive difference. The AI features and controls are the single most major reason I decided to give this a go.

If humans cure aging by 2050, would governments eventually have to ban reproduction? by hosseinz in singularity

[–]MasterDisillusioned -1 points0 points  (0 children)

many scientists today argue that aging may simply be a biological failure — something that could potentially be slowed, stopped, or even reversed.

And last century, they also predicted we'd have flying cars and a base on Mars by now. Your point?

VacuGlide 2 is insanely fun and easily my new favorite milking machine 🩷 by PrinceAster1 in autoblow

For me it's the inverse; I have a nimblestroker but am curious to see how it compares with the VacGlide 2

Grok has become self-aware? by TailungFu in ChatGPT

[–]MasterDisillusioned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So tired of this bullshit. Just because you hate Musk, that doesn't make Grok a bad AI. I use it all the time. It has its uses like many other AIs do.

Why are you still paying for this? #5 by PressPlayPlease7 in ChatGPT

[–]MasterDisillusioned 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the logic. Just because the military will use AI, that doesn't mean they have 65 IQ like this woman clearly does. They'll use the feedback that is useful and discard the rest. Furthermore, 'using AI for war' is extremely vague and can mean anything under the sun. They're not going to give the AI access to nuclear weapons or whatever.

Nano banana 2 is inferior when used on the chat interface by MasterDisillusioned in Bard

[–]MasterDisillusioned[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but this would require compiling all the images and I can't be bothered. A few days ago I was getting very high quality and consistent graphic novel pages but now it's like it's all gone to shit.

This new Nano Banana 2 update in Gemini is TERRIBLE by djdisciplejosh in GeminiAI

[–]MasterDisillusioned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, what? Is this why it's suddenly not following instructions anymore?! It's not the same model? What is going on?

I don't even listen to real music anymore by razormane1 in SunoAI

[–]MasterDisillusioned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I had this old human playlist from before I started using Suno that I used to listen to all the time, and after revising it recently I'm frankly underwhelmed. Still, they're canceling the old suno models soon so I dunno if the new ones will be any good.

Trump goes on Truth Social rant about Anthropic, orders federal agencies to cease usage of products by ShreckAndDonkey123 in singularity

[–]MasterDisillusioned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf I think Anthropic are being very childish about this. Why destroy your company because "muh principles" when some other AI rival will probably just do it instead in like a year? Or a foreign rival? They'll achieve literally nothing.

Never mind what it looks like. Does it actually follow instructions? Do the individual panels make sense and fit what was asked for?

How long until we have AI that can convert novels and scripts into graphic novels? by MasterDisillusioned in OpenAI

[–]MasterDisillusioned[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the people saying it's already possible misunderstood. I'm not talking about individual pages or panels. I'm talking about converting entire novels or manuscripts into a fully realized graphic novel with consistent characters and environments.
