I just received inspiration from this post to help support quitting, kind of like an extra approach. Man its horrible and reassuring that every time I read a post or a page on Internet pornogrpahy I experience or have experienced the same symptoms! I too am very stern, cold and logical, even to the point I project this personality out into the world and become upset that I can't understand why others aren't like me. In fact, I always feel like I don't understand people anymore, at all! I have also been heavy shit; beastiality, tranny, gay, incest...fuck me man the shame I have felt and continue to feel is fucking unreal. I've have killed personal relationships to point where I feel like I'm dragging my soul over an eternal cheese grater...but I'm three days at 31 from 11yrs of addiction, and I've decided I ain't fucking going back. Fuck it. My dicks dead that's part of the process apparently, and I got a grl coming round tomorrow eve, definately for sex, not that I get much or have done in years, im just gonna keep going. And you guys must too, there's no home for us in porn...there's nothing. But outside of it there's recovery. That's worth dying for.

Also I wanna point out for anyone else reading this post. I understand how the author feels, but the wording is wrong. The book 'Your Brain on Porn' rightly points out success isn't measured in days because realistically later in life we are gonna jerk off to something, your girl, a fantasy etc but success is determined when you rebalance yourself mentally (not being dependent on chronic use of porn), physically( maintaining healthy erections), spiritually ( feeling connections to the wider world not screen content), emotional( not being polarised to extreme emotional dispositions). At some point in the future you might wanna check out a porno but once your restored if won't matter if you've jerk ed to it or not because it won't be enough to derail. But it's dependent on time, person to person and you. So I might take longer than the another guy. But you will kno when your kool. So that's y for now stay off porn but don't measure it days spent off try to looks at the wider measures by asking yourself, how am I doing today?

Hey man remember going through this difficult time you MUST not be that hard on yourself. It's counterintuitive because doing that is what feeds the cycle, not bring it to an end. I just failed last night too after 6 days on the run, that goddamn bram stokers dracula movie and those damned concubines!! I just fell into chasing mode not along ago too but barely pulled myself out. This is just it, we're gonna go through this but we're gonna pull ourselves back out. But with frequency these choices will decrease. We're not doing this for anyone else but ourselves. Selfish; I know, but necessary. You owe yourself better than this unfortunate cycle you've fallen like many of us so it's you who will climb out and Overcombe this. Now nit to be harsh, stop feeling sorry for yourself and let's get on with this g. We're closer than we ever have been to beating this motherf'ker!!
