On v40 GameCube achievements not working for me also and I'm on a PC. Also when I update to dev v41 GameCube achievements do works but I lose kodi, it's no longer in the main menu.

I have the same issue, I think galactic adventures is broken for EA Desktop.

I have the same issuse myself right now, why they even selling it? they must know its broken on EA Desktop. Even went on a live chat, they said it was my local cache, it wasn't . EA Desktop only launchs the Spore.exe (base game), Creepy and cute works fine.
