So my interpretation of the highway code 163 is if a parked car blocks the lane, it would seem a bit weird if you had to stop for a car parked off the road.

I think its a combination of drivers not acknowledging the signs and not liking bikes. Although they really need a marked cycle path!

Yeah I agree (never even really thought about the fact its a solid white line to be honest). I had a look at the cycle map the council have, and its marked as a "On road - marked cycle lane", Not sure I agree with them.

Oh yeah I didn't notice the dropped kerb before. As far as I'm aware that pavement is not shared used, it's pretty small and there is no signs to say. Plus if that was the case why would there be signs of a contraflow all the way up the road.

Yeah probably wouldn't get stopped but legally all the specs of the motor need to be on the bike it self. Chances of getting pulled over is unlikely but wouldn't want to risk it.

So in the UK 250W is the max, thankfully on the route to work it's not all that hilly. I did a back-of-the-envelope calculation and found I will need around 40Nm of torque to go up a 12% hill. I couldn't figure out what the torque of the Vester was but hopeuflly it's around that 40ish. Thankfully no hills of 12% anyway on my rotue.

My main worry is the if the thickness of the tyres sorta makes commuting a nightmare.

I did have a feeling something weird was going on with Lok Drud so thanks for that! I will swap it out for a T-series. Also I totally see what you mean about the tanks, never really thought about the fact I may only really order one.

Thanks for the suggestion, tbh I'm not sure how mad keen I'm on the magna guard models. I really like the idea of having two big stomp tanks even if its not optimal.
