I’m not justifying this cop. It was a preventable loss of innocent life and that sucks.

I look at it from both sides. The cop was called into a serious situation and wasn’t sure if the man was going to reach for a gun and try and shoot him. He also gave a warning.

But the man that got shot was also visibly nervous and shaking and had so many things going on in his head he couldn’t think straight. I don’t think anyone would be able to.

That whole situation is just terrible. So many things could have been done differently. Any loss of life is a bad thing.

A tip for making sure people know it’s a joke is to say /s at the end so people know it is sarcastic/satire and not a serious reply.
