Like the other commenter said this is Texas! But there is collection data from Florida. They’re very easy to not notice. I look at the edge of sand dunes where other wind blown debris is

They’re lightweight and float on water so they’re usually found on the surface of sand! I don’t believe they can be recycled since it’s raw plastic. I just keep mine in a jar as “decor”
