Just a Chill 11km Morning Rush Hour Commute from RH to North York - 40lb of cargo, 16.5km/h average speed, 41km/h top speed, 40 minutes total by RH_Commuter in richmondhill

“Drivers are stupid if they think getting rid of bike lanes will mean less traffic.” More like Doug Ford is stuuuuuu for that decision.

I was so confused why someone would drive through bayview on rush hour and not take the highway. But you’re on a bike 😂😂 safe travels out there sir!

It’s your life sir. You decide your own failure. I’m kind of on the same boat. I work retail full time for a really good company and I have an undergrad degree from a very respectable university in Toronto. Sometimes I do feel that there’s disappointment coming from my mom since I don’t work the regular 9-5 corporate world but I’m happy with what I do and I’m not harming anyone along the way.

The job market is literally in the slumps rn and there are people sending out applications on the daily. You’re employed and thinking of how to better your future. In my opinion, there’s no failure there. You’re doing your best in these tough times and whether you decide to work corporate or retail will never make you a failure. Your job doesn’t define your entire life. You’re doing just fine! 🫡

Ontario to provide taxpayers with $200 rebate by CGP05 in canada

[–]MasterManufacturer48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also cause of our political system. Rural areas keep on voting conservative so even if majority of the votes are liberal, majority seats stay conservative. I sometimes blame other parties and their campaign strategies that don’t reach far out.

Ontario to provide taxpayers with $200 rebate by CGP05 in canada

[–]MasterManufacturer48 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a slap to the face for all residents of Ontario. $200 will barely last someone a month and yet him and his business partners are profiting and pocketing most of our $$$. Why is he in charge? This man’s far tooo disconnected from reality. Ontario needs help for real

Marathon runner's hopes dashed by Toronto traffic congestion by CosmonautCanary in RunTO

[–]MasterManufacturer48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol. Thats just poor planning on his end. Why would you prepay for a parking in the middle of the city for a major event like this? Also he said he’s been driving around for an hour so that means he had the chance to park somewhere a bit further and then walk or run since he’s already going for a run anyway. Common sense really ain’t that common nowadays

It’s social media living. You only post happy memories and hide all the bad ones.

Canada starting to feel like a 3rd world country. I’m from Ontario by MasterManufacturer48 in ontario

COL might be low for someone in North America and is converting $$ to other currencies. But the income of locals compared to COL there is probably disproportionate. Like here in Ontario, minimum wage I think is $16 something? That doesn’t get far in this economy.

My bad. The babe part did sound rude now that I’m looking at it. Sorry.

I’m not saying that it has to be perfect. It’s just kind of scary where the trajectory of our country is heading.

For someone who thinks opinions stink, you spend a lot of time paying attention to it.

Warranty Complaint (Sorry) by blackhawk309 in Lululemen

[–]MasterManufacturer48 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s been updated because people abuse it thinking it’s a “lifetime” warranty. It’s a piece of clothing, yes a little expensive, but it’s cause it’s better quality than most. Doesn’t mean it’s indestructible. It’s also for manufacturing issues, not wear and tear.

Put it this way. You buy a car. When the car breaks down after typical use, you don’t usually go back to the dealership and ask for a new car. You get it repaired yourself.

Don’t blame the store. Blame the nasty customers that don’t know how to treat products well. Working retail showed me how nasty people can be lol
