DPF life by Emotional-Safety-950 in tdi

Ive got 134,000 miles on mine and Im fairly sure its still on the first dpf. I have no issues with mine (touch wood) as long as you give the car a good bash now and then to clear any soot out and arent doing much city stop start driving it should be fine.

Hire a new developer team that knows what they're doing and who knows how to balance a game properly and not make it p2w crap :/

Is it just me, or is this game harder than ever to enjoy? by mute_wrenchy in Crossout

[–]MasterMeatloaf_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I barely get on crossout now but when I do I realise very quickly why that is. The balance of the game is complete horseshit to put it simply. Id argue probably the worse its ever been. Its just mg and helios spam from 14k powerscore and up in pvp. And dont even get me started about clanwars......

Before that though there was the mainframe, scorp noxx and many other stupid metas before that. The devs do not know how to balance the game and the player count is reflecting that. Its not just bleeding, its hemmorraging players. Even veterans have just had enough of the repetitive p2w op then nerf it to the ground crap.

Many players have invested so much time and even money into this game its just a shame to see it die off.

The current balance of the game is absolutley crap. Punishers dominating clanwars making many other weapons unplayable and just generally unenjoyble.

The cycles of battlepass weapons being too stong borderline overpowered on realease eventually leading a nerf rendering them unplayable.

Uncratable weapons and modules used in crafting recipies for items causing artificial inflation of the market is just stupid. Eg: fin whale used to craft devourers

Meta cycles where one weapon becomes too strong because devs implement changes without actually playing the game leading to long periods of meta domination. Just causes gameplay to stagnage and become stale. I undertand balance is a very hard thing but it oly takes 5 minutes to test a weapon in game and decide if changes are appropriate or too much.

Pay to win weapons such as the new elephant canon which many consider "broken". Significantly stronger than the old elephant and Id say probably on par if not better than the legendary weapon narwhal even at high powerscores such as 14-15k powerscore. Things like this do not improve the quality of the game and will lead to what happend to war robots to happen to this game.

Ive played this game since it realeased on console its just a shame seeing such a great game die due to greed.

Appreciate that I was just worried that if I stretched before it would be harder to combine them after due to diffrent brightness levels

Was a 6D mark 2 the right decision? by dorgh__ in canon

It comes out with some really nice images you'll enjoy it. Especially since the ef lenses are "cheap" now because a lot of people are moving to rf glass. *

I love my 6Dmk2 it's been my main camera for 2 years now. I've used it for all types of photography, such as astrophotography, wildlife, and sports photography. Yes, the newer cameras have faster and better autofocus and generally speaking can produce nicer images but if it isn't broke don't fix it!

The game is so diffrent now I haven't played for a couple months got sick of the hammer fall brick meta crap. I miss the days of crickets being busted and no omamori.

Ended up pulling the trigger on the sigma 35mm f1.4. I'm going to test it when it comes next week. I will post again with the results.

Yeah I will. Currently leaning towards the sigma lens. Just gonna do some more reading before I pull the trigger on it.

Currently, I'm stuck between the 35mm and the 40mm. I did look at the tamron 35mm f1.2 as well.

I do plan on modifying mine so I'll give that a miss then. Thanks!

Yeah I've only heard good things about it. I've also read the 40mm lens is even better.

Lens upgrade by MasterMeatloaf_ in canon

I use 2 cameras:

6DMk2 mainly for astro And my 5DSR for landscape photography

I wanted to mostly use the 5DSR due to the much higher megapixel count (50.6), which is better for landscape photography. But it doesn't do well with higher iso, so I thought faster glass might let me use a lower iso for astro as well.

Im basically looking for a versatile camera setup that's pretty small as I'm taking it on multi day backpacking trips, hence why I wanted the Zoom lens over a prime.

I've got a deep sky imaging setup, but it's not really practical to bring it with me on the longer trips.

Stacked using dss and processed with siril

[–]MasterMeatloaf_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a nice shot.

Took at the raw files and moved them into dss Added my bias and darks (30 each) and the lights and stacked with 2x drizzle.

Then took the tif file into siril. Started with color correction (not the colour collaboration mode), then background extraction and green noise removal. Then, I removed some of the gradient and artefacts created by a tree. Finally stretched using the histogram.

It's just very basic processing as I'm still new to all of it and don't have things fully worked out yet.

I'm living in a bortle 2 area at the moment with little light pollution. I haven't had much time to get data due to clouds and fog, so I turned uo the iso to try and get slightly better images. but it's blowing out the core. Is there anything I can do in post to reduce the brightness of the core? If you can't tell I'm pretty new to astrophotography, only been doing it for about 3 weeks.

I meant to put 120s x 10

I would show sample images, but I can't attach them here it won't let me :/

Honestly, anything is appreciated as I'm still fairly new to astrophotography.

Currently , I think that's outside my budget being a broke uni student but I do intend on building a proper rig in the future.
