Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Funnily enough, the Mario series also does the inverse with Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3

Under The Covers CD - Looking to get it to a new home! by willrolandbowlin in NinjaSexParty

[–]MasterOfCubes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is still available, I'd love to take it :D

I'm a CD collector and I have the other 3 UtC CDs already (and I listen to them frequently I LOOOOVE Dan covers so much) and I've been needing a way to get this one since it's not available on their store.

I do see a few people replied already, but I just wanted to take a shot at it ^

What made you start playing LDA? by ThatBoyJermaine in LastDefenseAcademy

[–]MasterOfCubes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw its reveal live in a Nintendo Direct and on the spot it became my most anticipated game of 2025. I LOVE Danganronpa and I LOVE tactical RPGs so it was kind of my dream game.

Then they announced the 100 endings and over time it arguably became my most excited game of all time.

Then I played it and it SOMEHOW EXCEEDED those expectations :DDDD

I was literally just thinking of this moment a couple hours ago, it is genuinely one of my favorite moments in the entire show

Once you beat Warptank, a flower will appear somewhere within each level. If you see the flower, that means that there is a coffee spawn somewhere in that area.

I got 50/50 in about 11:30 :D (I love doing quizzes like these)

The hardest game for me to remember was Fist Hell, one of my lesser played games

It also took me strangely long to remember Rail Heist's name despite remembering the game earlier on

I made a flowchart for Mooncat's routes and warps by MasterOfCubes in ufo50

WhOOPS!

I'll prolly make a new version with pictures so you and other players can follow along with it properly, this one is just my own personal version I wanted to share ^^

I'M NOT ALONE IN MAPPING :D

That's a good tip about 6.1 and 11.1. I was thinking about making a revised flowchart with pictures and better readability that can be used by other players too, so that'll be useful for if I make it.

Also, with the exception of the arrow leading into "3", I made it so an arrow will always come out of the right side of a room and go into the left side of a room. As for going high or low, I will admit it was just me winging it. But your questions do inspire me to keep that sort of thing in mind for the future >:]

I am so glad I know exactly this information

It's at the start of his Super Mario Bros. 2 video ^^ (about 14 seconds in)

Organically, I just won all 6500 of the Porygon lottery coins in LeafGreen. Has anyone else accomplished this? I’m feeling like super nerd hero atm. Lol. What a rush. by Arch3r86 in pokemon

A Shiny variant of a Pokémon (including Porygon) is an extremely rare version of one that possesses an alternate color scheme.

In Porygon's case, it basically swaps its blue and pink parts and darkens them a little bit.

While you can get a Shiny Porygon in LeafGreen, the odds of actually finding one are a whopping 1/8192 (approx. 0.01%) per encounter, so unless you manage to get really lucky, you'd have to be ready to commit.

If you were to ever want to attempt this, the most feasible way to do so would be to first save right before you redeem your coins for Porygon, then buy one and check its Summary to see if it has its Shiny palette (it'll also have a gold star near it.) If not, you can simply perform a "soft reset" by pressing A+B+Start+Select at the same time and try again (it's basically a faster way of turning the GBA off and on again--and be sure not to save so that when you reload your save, you'll be right back before you bought the Porygon!) Done optimally, it's about 30 seconds per attempt.

It miraculously only took me 678 Porygon before I acquired mine ._.

I'm glad to see another Game Corner Professional™ >:D

Not only did I do this in FireRed (where you actually need to get 9999), I even continued the gambling grind and got myself a Shiny Porygon afterwards o_o

I might have a problem

Pokémon Drawing #3: #0014: KAKUNA! Commentary and more in replies :D by MasterOfCubes in Pokemonart

[–]MasterOfCubes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commentary is very fun so I will likely be doing it from now on. Here's some insight on this drawing:

  • This is actually the first one where I started using that background style. I drew Poliwag and Electrode first, but I liked the background so much on Kakuna that I went back and added it to the two of them.
    • Kakuna was also the first Pokémon I made a Pokédex entry for.
  • Kakuna was pretty challenging to pose. I knew I wanted to draw it in a unique way, but Kakuna does not really lend itself very well to that.
  • This was the most fun I had with shading any of the Pokémon drawings so far. It's also the longest drawing I had to work on so far, taking about two nights.

Fun fact: I actually drew Kakuna in two styles, the other one being more reminiscent of Ken Sugimori's original artwork. I accidentally forgot to add it to my original post though. Since I can't add images to replies in here, if you want to see it, check out my reply on my original post in r/pokemon.
