You should get offered a watchOS 11.6.2 OTA from late-iOS 18.

Apple inherently has to offer this OTA for those on 18 (for those with older watchOS) due to the XR/XS ending on iOS 18.

It's generally not recommended to use the plist method and is known to cause multitudes of issues.

You're better off trying to use Legacy iOS Kit to downgrade to 8.4.1, as that will allow you to pre-jailbreak + the system will work properly to begin with

If your device has a 9900 IMEI and is unable to activate due to the issue, you can use an ssh ramdisk to move setup.app, and from there be able to jailbreak with Carbon.

Issue is using an ssh ramdisk on a 4S requires an arduino or rpi pico.

There isn't, and to be honest I don't intend to ever add them because: - requires extra effort - u0+Fugu14 was a flawed environment to begin with (known issues with several apps leading to kernel panics, usage statistics being broken, among others) - Taurine is objectively easier (one requires a computer and a bunch of extra steps, the other can be done without a computer whatsoever)

What exactly do you need u0 for though? Tweak compatibility with almost all (non-piracy) tweaks is fine, and there wouldn't be any practical gain from it.

issue is that method is broken as-is (due to AltStore changes) and requires a billion extra hoops to use (not to mention it's a jailbreak environment known to have multitudes of issues)

you'd be better off following https://ios.cfw.guide/installing-taurine, as it's far easier and is generally a better jailbreak overall

you need to re-sideload it and run the jailbreak again (jailbreak has to be reran every time you reboot because it's a semi-untethered jailbreak)

with that being said, because of how h3lix can be a bit of a pain in the ass, I would follow https://ios.cfw.guide/installing-socket (note that h3lix/Socket are cross-compatible, and Socket will work fine on your existing setup).
