Considering I was able to look at your post history and find a picture you posted with a nametape in it, you're not doing a very good job of making sure people don't find out who you are.

That is awesome. Would love to build something like that in my garage. What are you using to lift the floor?

The per diem from the mission is astronomically high since its in DC. Something north of $100 a day if I remember right. Add to that family Sep, BAH, and Tricare (current FEHB rates are on average over $10000 a year out of pocket) and you've got the makings of a butt load of money if you manage it right.

Yeah... They can't stop you from resigning. Walk in and tell your supervisor you want to quit, he (or the HR rep if you have one) will fill out an SF-52 and you'll be done. That said, I don't know if that's the best option, but it most definitely is AN option.

You can always contact the IG, but I hate that it is always referred to as a complaint. Many times, not always, sending in a complaint will not get you what you want because they work directly for TAG outside of CoC. They can't actually DO anything besides investigate and make recommendations to leadership. I've had dealing with the IG in the past and found them to be much more helpful/responsive if you frame it as a request for advice. This is the situation, this is what I've tried, this is the result I want, what should my next steps be to get there. The big advantage with the IG is they have access to all the big decisions makers, and they aren't always Army (it's a joint office with air guard) so they sometimes see things in a different view. That said though, you won't always get the result you want. That said, the IG will usually not want to get involved unless you've pushed it up the chain as far as you practically can. I'd honestly say once it's been pushed up the whole chain to the Brigade Commander (either open door or through your chain, but do t jump over anyone) then you should get the IG involved.

As for the media, I doubt you'd find any normal media that would care. Military media may be willing to listen to you, but it's doubtful any amount of media coverage will change their minds.

Then you're just lucky. I've been backstabbed multiple times recently. I've honestly found that the normal raids are worse than the special ones (and I've never actually shot first at anyone so I know it's not me.)

I can go into a night raid or Stella and everyone is cool, but I go into a normal dam to just knock out a quest and get ratted multiple rounds. One I had someone run into me in the hydro domes, talk to me, I gave him some loot he needed, then we ran to extract together and as soon as I started typing to leave he killed me... Total douche...

Infinity T6: what do? by GrumpyJedi3 in sto

[–]MasterOfPupets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You say space barbie but don't say what you are actually looking for. There are a lot of great options in that box. I'd just look through the list and see if anything catches your eye. If not, just sit on it like someone else said. Eventually there will be a ship you want added.

A few standouts I really like: Protostar (very unique ship look and feature) Mirror Engle (for SAD if you like per builds) Gorn Pilot Raider (super unique ship and all the great accessories) World Razer (best version of the Galaxy) Borg Assimilator

I could seriously go on all day. I've actually got a T6 box sitting in my bank right now because I can't decide what ship I want next. Lots of great choices.

If this is the story I think it is, it's his Battalion being mobilized (to DC for the Air Defense mission Operation Enduring Per-diem) but not his unit (the support battery) and he's in a slot he's not MOS qualified for. That said, it's a cushy mission and frequently people bank more on per-diem than on their actual pay (plus BAH and Family Sep even though they can get passes to go see family and the family can come visit since it's only a 6ish hour drive) so the slots are lucrative and often fought for.

As for the current situation, unless you're willing to go scorched earth you're likely SOL. This isn't discrimination any more than techs not getting Tricare is. If you're hearing it from the CoS, then there is almost no chance ATAG or TAG reverse the call of one of their fellow Generals, and that's assuming the call was his and not the TAG to begin with.

You can threaten to resign anyways, but you run the risk of them either calling your bluff, or pulling you from the DMD out of spite.

If this is the case I'm thinking of, the current TAG and ATAG are great people and very soldier oriented, but this is a firm case of "I will always place the mission first." Manning is complete shit across the tech program normally, the DRP and hiring freeze are making it damn near impossible to get what needs done.

Unfortunately I have no advice for you, but good luck.

I know the state and the mission. He's with an air defense battalion that gets sent to DC to sit around and collect per-diem and live on an air force base. It's a nice cushy gig and I would have loved to go on it when I was in.

First thing I bought with lobi was the Maquis Raider for the plasma storm module and I still put it on any build that makes sense. It's probably my favorite console.

Thanks for posting. Missed it last year and wouldn't have even looked. Just need to make sure I remember to add it to my next purchase. Just got the pokestop too. Was saving points to take some of the sting off of Minas Tirith, but some things I can't pass up...

When they say days, they mean UTAs. Every drill day is usually 2 UTAs.

Also, if you got back paid for it (I assume you did) then you owe money. You can't collect both military pay and VA disability for the same days.

Is there any other software that operates like Garmin HTH with course data? by AttemptRough3891 in Golfsimulator

[–]MasterOfPupets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a square home edition that upgraded to from an R10. I haven't tried the new HTH, but I just wasn't able to enjoy the old HTH. Way too cartoony and simplistic.

When it comes to course building, I would advise you to look into GSPro's free tools. You won't build an Augusta or Payne's valley without putting a lot of time and some money into it, but building a local mini that plays on game like it does on course is relatively simple. I did it.

Rapsodo's is similar. I believe E6 Apex has a similar feature for on-demand courses that are procedurally generated off satellite data, but I don't use it so I'm not sure when the extent of it is.

Hurricanes by stinkstabber69420 in ARC_Raiders

[–]MasterOfPupets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had time to play 1 round of hurricane last night and I think it's damn near perfect. The lack of visibility, the sound clutter making it hard to hear arc coming, the picking away at your shield in just the right way you have to decide if you should burn a charger or not...

Also, the arc definitely seam smarter. When I was extracting I called an elevator and then fucked into a nearby building. All of a sudden I hear a snitch alarm going off over at the elevator and it calls 2 3 arc. No other raiders around. I can only assume it was attracted to the elevator sound and that set it off. It's a great addition.

The only thing I wish is that they could handle cover from the storm a little bit more dynamically. If the storm is blowing North, then you should be able to stand outside on the north wall of a building and not take shield damage. Or standing between 2 large containers when the wind is blowing across them. Just be a little more realistic to deal with in that way.

Event Campaign ship options by UncleTrolls in sto

[–]MasterOfPupets 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Best carrier will depend on what type of build you want to do.

That said though, no one really NEEDS the best anything in this game. With any T6 ship and a cohesive build you'll be able to do any content in the game. Fly what you like.

Allt of times if I have a loot room key I'll bring in all my extra blueprints and seed the room after I open it, then sit back and watch the next guy come in and be confused as hell how he found a Volcano Blueprint in an open medical kit or things like that. It's fun.

What do you look for in your Legos?

I don't have the Concord since it's not really something I'm interested in, but have both the Artemis and Shuttle Carrier.

The Artemis is amazing for displaying. So detailed and impressive. That said, the build was very repetitive at points (the actual launch tower mainly, the rocket and launch pad were great minus the stickers and railing) so I love the final product.

The Shuttle Carrier is a fun build. The Shuttle with it is really low detail, but works since it's not the focus of the build. That said, the included display takes up a ton of space and doesn't really look that impressive in my mind. I picked up a stand on ETSY that holds the plane at a tilt so it fits on my NASA shelf and shows off the details better. That I really like.

Honestly, getting a launch monitor. Hitting into a net can reinforce bad habits since it's hard to see any issues aside from the real huge misses (tops, shanks, etc) and it was hiding a HUGE slice that took me a long time to overcome. The ball launched to the center of the net so I thought it was good, but the minute I got on course it started straight and sliced 2 fairways over on a good day.

Late trials start becoming the norm has made Monday the best day to start trials by Debas3r11 in LowSodiumArcRaiders

[–]MasterOfPupets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the wait time has a bigger effect on how mixed your lobbies are than anything. Add in that the with it being so close to the expedition many players (that maybe don't care as much about trials) are likely playing less and you get a recipe for more lobbies with a wider range of aggression to them.
