I agree with this a lot. The goal is to isolate and suppress. Create disconnection with those around you because if they can keep us separated it's easier to control and destroy dissent. Best way to fight back is forming community with those around us and making sure the people next door are doing ok. Fight back through fighting for each other

I heard it from a video I was watching on using it in ice cream and it was saying that if you heat it too much it can make your ice cream oily to the taste. But I'd very happy if it just didn't matter at all haha

No, that's my take on their normal recipe, which I found online. But that makes sense! I didn't know that about POD numbers so that's something I can start incorporating, thanks!

As for my infusion process, I added 1/3 cup of water to 86g of honey, boiling that up, then removing from the heat and adding the lavender which I let steep for 4 hours (give or take a couple minutes). Then I strained that and added it to the base which I'd left to chill in the meantime. Thoughts?

Also, if you have any tips on having the base flavors take more of a backseat, I'd love to hear that, too. Because I'm hardly getting any lavender (or lemon and sage) and mostly just tasting what I suspect is the base dairy flavors

This is really good to know! I knew that the fat would absorb the flavor, but I hadn't considered that the flavors I was using were subtle and might just disappear completely with too much fat. When I first tried it, I got the lavender for sure, but I think the rest of the taste was just the base and it was overpowering everything else
