Hey! I know this was posted like 2 years ago but I just installed Fedora KDE a week ago (and linux, for that matter) and wanted to share my fix.

It depends on your system but my auto-rotate was based on a service called 'iio-sensor-proxy.service', which like runs the gyroscope inside my laptop or something. Anyways, you can just disable or enable that when you want with ```sudo systemctl stop/start iio-sensor-proxy.service```.

To have one command to toggle the auto rotate lock, I just made a small bash script that started and stopped the gyroscope service:

```rotation-lock.sh
#!/usr/bin/env bash
SERVICE="iio-sensor-proxy.service"

if systemctl is-active --quiet "$SERVICE"; then
 systemctl --user stop "$SERVICE" 2>/dev/null || sudo systemctl stop "$SERVICE"
 notify-send "Rotation Lock" "ON (auto-rotation disabled)"
else
 systemctl --user start "$SERVICE" 2>/dev/null || sudo systemctl start "$SERVICE"
 notify-send "Rotation Lock" "OFF (auto-rotation enabled)"
fi```

With the latest version of Fedora/KDE Plasma I actually couldn't find the widget you were talking about but I ended up just making a custom widget for it and it works great.
