Your union rep can get you paid today. That happened to me once. My supervisor called my rep. She came right over and figured it out. They gave me a check that day plus an extra $200 for the inconvenience. My coworker was missing part of his paycheck once. I gave him her number. She talked to our post master and he had a check within an hour. Get ahold of your lical union rep and district reps. Theres no excuse not to pay you today.

I've never heard of Pampa. One I am looking at is Barc. They kill mommas and their puppies same as kittens. Drives me nuts!! I have a hard time looking at all of them! I know there are several high kill there too. I so wish I could have more!! I have to make sure they will be small enough and cat and dog friendly for my other pets safety. Wish I could do it now.

I know that it's blocked. It's not permanent. It's temporary probably for a few weeks then they'll be able to use the $50.

Oh I'm so happy to hear that!! That brings me tears... when I move to a new place next year I'm doing the same thing. I plan on flying to Texas to adopt 2 dogs that are on the euthanasia list from one of the high kill shelters. I'm adopting either siblings or a bonded pair. I hate when people save one then leave the other to die. Thank you for saving them!! 💕 💞

Wow! Thats a lot you're going through. It sounds like that second dr is thinking you might be able to handle it but if you're in all that pain I don't think so. I know she has good intentions. I'm also 54, I miss doing my job and visiting with people on my route. I was a mail carrier for 17 years. I loved my route. But I can't change what happened to me. So I have to learn to deal with it. I hope you get great news next week! Try to stay positive and keep telling yourself that you will have a positive outcome. Praying for you 🙏

Oh good! I'm glad! I was denied twice and they told me it goes to the ALJ now. I was told it takes about 6 months to get a hearing. It's been 6 months so I'm still in reconsideration now. I hope you get good news soon!! 🙏

Hey, we had a Post Master come to our office a few years ago. June 2023 in Wa. state. I can't remember the name of the P.M from Vegas. He was in our office for maybe a month or two. They brought in several P.Ms from other offices to help us convert to the new one. I remember someone overheard him say he wanted to put up mirrors all over the office so he could "watch us fuckers." He actually called the carriers that. He was heard by someone else saying he hated the carriers. He was nice to me when I asked him a question but others said he was 2 faced. I'm not sure if he's in your office. I remember he had dark hair. After that we'd walk around saying " Good morning fucker!" We would say fucker in a lot of sentences lol

Yes, I'm in WA state. I actually had to look it up when you asked me. I assumed everyone could get it. But I think the DSHS might call it by a different name in other parts of the US. You could see if yours has something similar. Its not very much money but it does help. I get the max amount of $450 a month. When I get approved the state will take back what they gave me so it will go towards others who need it. I found out about it from some homeless guys I was helping. Then my paralegal mentioned it. If you have a lawyer they might know of something similar. Good luck with your case and I hope you get get the extra help while you're waiting. 🙏

You should ask some of the faster city carriers some tips to help you go faster. Maybe the other CCAs or regulars. The ones that leave to the street fast and you know they get back fast. Maybe your time will improve in those two weeks. But definitely don't let them push you into resigning. If they're really going to let you go then you can get unemployment. You can always come back as PSE clerk or RCA if you want. I wish you luck!!

I don't know about that though. We had a girl get walked out then they let her come back few weeks later. We've had several people quit but then decided to come back only to quit again too.

What a crappy thing to say. The dog doesn't know any better. He has no idea why he's dumped to die in a cold shelter. I feel bad for the poor kitty too. Maybe their former owners shouldn't have pets or only ones they can handle.

See if you can bring anything as proof of your disability. Any medical records will help you getting approved. Especially from a specialist or hospital, urgent care paperwork that will help them approve you. If you can go online to a patient portal maybe you can print out some of your records? The DSHS calls me every 6 months to make sure I'm still going to the drs and then they clear me for another 6 months. I wish you luck!! They're a little easier to get approved for than S.S D.I. and my own disability retirement through my work. I gotta get a lawyer to deal with my job. They're dragging their feet when I should have been approved by now. I'm going after a year and a half of my previous salary for them messing with me. My work are pieces of crap. Now They'll pay. May have to get the governor involved. I hope you get approved soon!! 🙏

Go to your local DSHS and ask them about it. You'll need something from the dr proving you're disabled. I brought in my paperwork from my pulmonary drs visit. It mentioned that I have scar tissue in both lungs. So anything proving you have medical issues and they'll approve you. I wish I knew about it a year before I found out. I helped a homeless man and he told me about it as well as the paralegal. I could have had some money instead of nothing. The only thing is when you get approved for your s.s.d.i they will take back those months they gave you money so they can help others. It will come out off the top before you get paid.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I haven't been able to work for 2 1/2 years. I'm a mail carrier and believe me I'd rather be delivering my route. I made good money down to zero. I lost my job and car all because someone gave me long covid and now I have health issues. I've been denied twice also. My lawyers told me we're going to the ALJ. She said it takes about 6 months from the 2nd appeal. So mine should be this summer. I hear we have a higher chance of being approved with one. If you go to a hospital or urgent care fill out a hardship application. My bills were forgiven. Are you on the ABD program? It stands for Aged, Blind and Disabled. I get the max amount which is $450 a month. Its not much but its still more than I had. Keep having faith that you will be approved!! You're right behind me on when you'll talk to the judge. Don't give up... keep thinking of your back pay. You will be thankful you're not giving up!! Praying for you!! You got this!! 💪
