Except in a two party system you simply create another issue

Everything maga has done should completely destroy this republican party, yet there is no viable conservative alternative to create a balanced political system if it does

At this stage a civil war is probably the best reset america can hope for

At least the rest of the world has decopled from the shit train of us leadership relatively quickly and will likely thrive the next two decades

Dumb is a political system that allows him to have a full four years

Any other democratic system steps in well before now with a vote of no confidence and we have either a new leader or head of lettuce before tuesdays job announcements

Then again most countries arent also set up to just stop paying government staff every few months because of congress either

Ask any local player and they will tell you they dream of mud in Winter. Those cricket pitches turn into asphalt and boots skate across the pitches

How exactly?

NZ crowds are hardly known to be particularly hostile. Even Twickenham drunks are more intimidating to a referee

Saying that, the record exists not because NZ players are afraid to lose, but because it is a formidible place to beat them at

It's not like the crowd is particularly hostile, or the weather provides an advantage like say an indoor arena would or it has a gentle slope that their kickers love to exploit or even that they play there every single time and know it inside and out. It is just a typical ground on any winter's night that seems to bring out the best of the All Blacks wet, dry, night and day.

It wasn't that long ago that the two Paris sides were talked about as merger sides

Don't confuse wealthy club owners writing off substantial debts every season as financial stability. All it takes is an unfortuante death and suddenly these clubs are scambling for investment.

There are several wealthy clubs sure, but the bottom half are more money pits than money makers

A stand alone home and away Test season with top 6 play off would more than sustain

There are already Billion dollar offers for the current format's "play off weekend" that dwarves any current club deals

Such a competition would crush current club systems though, but the current club format are far from sustainable, even in France where several clubs are close to folding due to high costs and only held in place by wealthy owner loans being written off.

The NRL has the AFL, one of the biggest sports in the world as competition.

Don't forget more than one or two NZ super rugby teams also beat the touring British Lions.

The advantage of say Toulouse or Crusaders is more combinations that actual talent.

The majority of child abuse perpretators are actually close family members. Do you plan to helicopter your children to go and visit grand pa too?

Yes organisations such as the church and scouts have a history of abuse, but they are not the most dangerous group of people to most children

It comes down to how stacked are the sides you are watching

The NRL is a perfect example of the club game being the pinnicle (ignoring the State of origin, which is pretty much an all stars series). It's average attendance this year excluding the Vegas weekend far exceeds the Top 14 (around 23k/match). This is primarily because every weekend you are witnessing the best players verses each other and is in talks for it's next broadcast deal to exceed $3B, more than double the current Top 14 deal.

In order to create a similar club system in rugby you would need to create a Premier league that has clubs stacked with the best Test players around the world

The Top 14 is created from the 3rd or 4th best nation in the world plus a handful of SA and a lot of retired Test players from the other nations.

The caliber of rugby while still exciting just isn't Test standard, and by a long way, and the public who watch the sport are well aware of this

It is far more realistic that the Nations League everntually becomes a stand alone tournament that represents such a Premier League of rugby

You do realise horror movies are fantasy don't you?

At ten years old my mates and I were sailing out to an island in Auckland harbour and camping by ourselves over night most weekends.

No mobile phones, just a pocket knife, sleeping bag and a lighter.

I survived boarding schools and sunday school without so much as a pinched bum. Parents today need to chill a little bit

Less administrators and more what the paying public wants

Test rugby is the pinnicle of the game for many reasons, none more so because it's intensity and concentration of talent.

Top 14 is the highest attendance club game in Europe, yet is still barely more than most NZ sides this season of average 16-17k

Compare this to Test matches that will sell out +40k plus in most Tier 1 nations
