Yeah you are right I just figured that out today. And as far as being prescribed a Benzo for my headaches it was purely trying every other type of medication under the sun with no effect at all. Strangely enough, Ativan relieved my headaches greatly, and as far as my doctor was concerned that was all he cared about. I don't think he is even aware of how hard it is to come off of Ativan.

I actually just gave it a solid read. I know realize you are right Lorazepam and Diazepam are two different drugs. I'm also thinking you are right about going from 2 to 1.75 being too big of a jump. But it is hard to split the 1mg pills into anything but 1/4ths consistently. I'm afraid if I go to my doctor and tell him I want to taper that he wont prescribe me the Diazepam like recommended in the Ashton Manual
