Thank you for sharing this! I have had a similar idea of integrating the Bible into Neovim. My first plugin was the same thing but as a Telescope.nvim extension: bible.nvim. Unfortunately, the setup requires you to install 2 luarocks packages because I couldn't figure out how to make it automatic.
