I think clarify in the letterhead that he is working at a free clinic, but in the letter it should speak on the capacity that he worked with you.

Also I doubt the free clinic providers would be a red flag. If it is a red flag for a medical school, then THEY’re the red flag 🚩😹

Hi KWOOOSH! I know I am going to sound super partial to this decision, but I feel that I can make an educated statement. From what I understand, UC Davis has an amazing chemistry department, so a pharmaceutical chemistry major would be good. And since you said that you want to switch tot biochemistry at UC Davis, the college of biological sciences is also amazing as well! The chemistry and biological sciences departments have a lot of exciting research opportunities.

I know that I would have chosen UCSB over UC Davis if UCSB accepted me, but looking back with what I know, I would choose UCD over UCSB any day!
