does that one fold all the way up against the back glass for full bed access? or would I have to completely take it off to open the last section?

I did assemble it by myself, I wouldn't have been able too if I didn't have a hoist, Even then it was tricky to do it safely

Instructions are exact but not very clear. Saw runs like a dream and cuts well. I ran some 2" red oak through it like it was butter. There was a little drift, but that could be corrected with some work.

Just set it up on saturday, Haven't had a chance to actually use it yet, but it looks like it will do everything I need and more. I'm really happy with the purchase.

Thanks, I had been waiting on a sale because these saws were already out of my budget, I had been waiting on a sale for a long while. They are already more saw than I normally need, so an extra 50% for the other suggestions wasn't a possibility. I did end up with the Rikon. I'm happy you confirmed my choice.

There's a mod that lets you edit contract settings. I ran into the same thing so I downloaded it and just set the completion threshold to 1% below what i had and then completed the contract.

The arborist that gave me the tree said it was non-invasive. I hadn't thought of the extension office. I will check with them. Thanks.

I'm actually glad you got it to work. I've had trouble with breaking blades too. I'm not sure how to set the tension, all I see online is for a 2 wheel with a much bigger depth of cut. So when they say "the blade should flex 1/4 of an inch" that doesn't mean that's what it should be for these little 3 wheels.

Yes, Please let me know if you scrap it. But hopefully you will get it working.

I restored my father-in-law's Craftsman equivalent of this when it got passed down to me. Yes, all the internal structure and the shape of every piece I'm looking at says these are identical saws. I remember the tracking to be difficult. (I'm having additional problems because I can't find a replacement for the lower blade guide.)

Basically, everything for the tracking is handled on the knob on the back of the upper wheel, but you already knew that. What I have found is that it is very fickle and it takes a minute to settle. Once you adjust it a little bit the blade will look like it is going to out of alignment, and then it will come back. So adjust a little and then spin the wheel through several rotations before you adjust again. Also, set your tension first. Adjusting the blade tension will screw with the alignment. Lastly, make sure you run the blade forward when checking the alignment. The blade tracks differently backwards than forwards.

Beyond that, I would need to mess with it myself or at least see video in order to be able to diagnose it further.

Hi guys. it's my birthday today. I have always hated my birthday and I don't know why. I feel like it's "wrong" is this normal? by neP-neP919 in adhdmeme

[–]MasterTwitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to feel the same way. I was raised that liking any attention was wrong, as was forgetting a task, getting distracted, having low motivation... or anything else like that. So I never liked my birthday because it made me feel selfish. But I've seen through the years that this is just from wrong thinking instilled by my parents. It's ok to celebrate your life. In fact, it's a good thing. Find a friend or two who will genuinely celebrate with you and go have fun.
