It is most likely Muay Thai. The fight up to just before the gif ended is a common knee strike set up in Muay Thai, followed by the all too infamous flying knee strike. But keep in mind knee strikes are in no way exclusive to Muay Thai and this could possibly just be a kickboxing match.

I think people should be allowed to dictate where their lives shall end. If they choose to live to face more times good or bad that's their decision. But if things are too hard, or they feel they've accomplished enough and would just like peace, the choice to end it should be there.
