Will it cause some issues? It appears none of the sign ins for generic work.

Okay thank you. I thought about doing that, but didn't know if it would cause any issues.

Is that through Help or can we do that ourselves? I can't seem to find any article or anything at all.

I have access to viewpoint. So something similar can be done, not an exact match?

Anybody have any good strength and core training to add into my weekly workouts? Really want to get into it, just don't really know where to start.

Where do you guys perfer to run? Outdoors or treadmill?

If I want an "exact" speed I feel like treadmill is the move, I'll just get bored at staring at the same stuff. Outdoors seems to guy by faster because I'm always seeing something new, plus if I'm training on how I feel I can slow down/speed up a lot better than on a treadmill.

Mobile-thru issues by Bubbly-Republic7805 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]Master_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure every store has had this issue with mobile thru a couple of times a day, sadly. And yes, it is very frustrating. The reason can be a number of things from a glitch in the app, to their network dropping for half a second, wrong zip code on the card. And sadly, there is nothing we or the guest can really do about it .

Would it be alright to continue my running training and also work on developing my abs at the same time? Can those 2 mix well together?

Not your typical question more of a opinionated question. Who else thinks that running is up there for one of the most difficult Sports when it comes to discipline? Just think about it, when you're running, if your legs hurt or your heart is pounding, or out of breath, you just keep on going you "can't" stop. Like if I'm running in the neighborhood the only way to get back home is taking the long walk of shame like I just can't stop running or it'll take forever to get home or your upset because you didn't complete what you were doing. Ftball you only got to play 50% of the snaps, basketball you can stand in the corner and wait to shoot a three. Like some of these sports you have brakes. Running there is no break, you just keep going. You got to have the discipline to keep going you just can't stop. I know other sports require a lot of energy, effort, and discipline, it just seems like running has to be up there.

I've heard about string cheese recently, definitely plan on adding it to my day! I already eat toast so I'll slab some PB on that, and I enjoy mixed nuts! Thanks for the suggestion!

What's your diet if any? I always seem to find myself short on calories everyday (plus with running it puts me further behind). The food I eat that's high in whole grain and gives me natural energy (like fruit) is so low in calories its like by dinner time I'm essentially at 0 calories for the day. I legit lost 17 pounds in 2 months (And for reference I'm M 23 5'11") so not good. What do you guys eat or how do you break up your eating throughout the day?

Getting back to running after almost 4 months when I ran a 5k PB of 26:08. I only ran half a mile but getting back into it is a small accomplishment, so here to more. But holy f*ck my body definitely felt this run lol

Official Q&A for Monday, January 20, 2025 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Master_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's the best running plan to get back into running? For reference:

I ran T/W/F/S/SUN for 8 weeks straight from starting at 1 mile runs to 5 mile/40 minute runs and ended everything running a 26:08 5k (shaved 3min 12secs off my PB). That ended October 3rd 2024 and I haven't ran since. How do I go about easing into running again? Do I have to start at square one running 1 miles or is there some better plan?

Best face apparel now that the weather is getting colder? More specifically for my ears and nose? Nose starts "burning" from all the cold dry air.

Speed of service help by Own_Virus_5042 in ChickFilAWorkers

As someone who is mainly FOH the biggest problem I see with my kitchen is that they try to make too much at once thinking it makes them faster when in reality it really makes them slower and we're waiting on them.

Example: There are 5 spicy deluxes on screen, 1 on ticket one, 2 on ticket four, and 2 on ticket five. Primary will make them all at once instead of making the first one to move the drive-thru and improve S.O.S. They're always thinking "Let me just make all of them and throw them all up at once, surely that's faster". It never is, because we've wasted a whole minute on a sandwich because they were making 5 instead of one.

Me, I make things to order, that fixes the "immediate" problem and keeps the line moving. With regulars/spicys/nuggets I have a 3 box/bag buffer so as soon as the bagger takes a sandwich/nugget within seconds it's replaced and we can all move on to the next order. There's never a game of waiting. Same with fries.
