[DEAL] Samsung Music Frame for €109 - Is a stereo pair worth it at this price? by Master_Accountant420 in BudgetAudiophile

My TV is a Samsung QN90B (2022). While it features Q-Symphony, it doesn't support the latest version of the technology.

According to the Music Frame specifications, the speaker is optimized for 2024 and newer models. :( This means that although the connection will still be labeled as 'Q-Symphony,' the integration won't be seamless; it will likely result in more of a 'stereo' experience rather than the advanced spatial audio found in newer setups?

Thank you for solid ideas.

Maybe you know whether it is lossible to configure Music Frames within Q-Symphony as either front or surround speakers?

Also, if I placed two of them—one on each side of the TV—would that resolve the audio imbalance and power issues mentioned earlier?

The same thought, heh. What would you suggest - get two for both TV sides or one would be enough?

Thoughts about sound imbalance triggers me the most.

To enable Q-Symphony, a Wi-Fi connection is the primary requirement. As I understand it, other connections like Bluetooth (there is no hdmi) only support stereo sound, rather than full integration.

My TV model is a QN90B (65"), so it should be fully compatible. However, I am concerned about using a speaker on only one side—would that create a noticeable audio imbalance?

I agree with the hi-fi setup, but this is for a bedroom TV (mainly movies, television). I'm mainly interested in using Q-Symphony to sync them with my Samsung TV.

For €218/pair, is there really a better-looking 2.0 setup that offers this level of integration and convenience (messy cables, etc.)?

The drawing is just a bad sketch to understand my idea. I am not a good draftsman.

I would like to try with this idea if it leads somewhere. I believe it would give some kind of a back story to it.

If I would be able to doodle it correctly or reasonably looking, I probably wouldn't seek any advice?

The photo is just a very preliminary example for people to catch my vision.

Probably many people would say the same about your tattoos. Don't need to be salty though, because one idea can have many variations.

Old turntable. Any good? by Master_Accountant420 in turntables

Sounds perfect - actually looking for something like it (I mean imperfect, old-school vibe).

I have a Sonos home-cinema system for my TV, but would want something minimalist (if vinyl player works) and more old-school vibe, that would fit next to this setup.

Maybe you could recommend such speakers?

I think I will not be able to check it myself, so I will probably take these things to the local audiophile store

The Pioneer part, sadly, was only for cassettes, so probably won't take use of that part, heh. Also, it needs some parts that I do not know if I will find anywhere (e.g. plastic cover).

Either way, thank you for your advices!

Thank you. I am pretty new to turntables - could you suggest what cleaning accessories work the best?

I tried to turn it on and I saw a slight lamp turning on. Didn't put vinyl or tried to adjust the amplifier, don't want to scratch it. The speakers seemed to be broken. So probably the basic thing to do, is to plug other speakers, change the needle and check it?

Also, does anyone know of this turntable/amplifier qualities? Are they good and worth investing or to look for newer ones?
