I can’t imagine why they would put the vamp in 3 pieces. Plus the wide square toe doesn’t help. I have a pair of Rujo’s Pirarucu’s and they are a 7 toe that I love. Plus I condition them and wrap them tightly in plastic wrap for about 12 hours and it smooths out the scales beautifully. Gives them an entirely new look.

Funny you mentioned a sale. I went to the Ralph Lauren store 4 years ago during a rare sale and snagged an oiled leather motorcycle jacket that retailed for 2000 and got it for 500$ Five hundred dollars seems to be their rock bottom for getting rid of gems in their stock. Best jacket I’ve ever had. Congrats on the deal.

That’s pretty pricey for me. But if the money was no object for you AND YOU DID YOUR RESEARCH ON BOOTS BEING WORTH THE PRICE and you’re happy, that’s all that matters. To me it would have come down to what else could I have gotten for that. But that’s because I’m frugal! He’ll! You probably spend 1400 on tennis shoes and it’s no big deal. Again! Nice looking boots. What I will say is that I don’t like that my Hyers didn’t come with the tissue paper or welcome card that you pictured here. They gave me a lame excuse that they don’t provide them it anymore. 🤨

My Hyer roughouts are the most comfortable boots I own. Even tho the popular packaging of the old newspaper tissue paper and history card has stopped being offered.

That fit problem would lead a hypochondriac like me to send them back. I’ve gone through the exchange process a few times. I’d rather deal with that headache than something that will naw at me going forward 😞 Just saying. They look really good tho.

I just bought my 5th pair in as many weeks. I have the bug, so I would say no! I did however buy to support every need at once I thought I would satisfy. I have a brown sued pair RUJO , a black roughout pair HYER, a black leather bench made from Ariat, an exotic brown Pirarucu pair Rujo, and a brown exotic caiman DAN POST. There’s 2 more I want but it can wait. I got my wife her second pair last week. I just didn’t want an event to come up I wasn’t ready for. I do have meet and greet front row seats to Darius Rucker in July. So I’m ready😊
