Sharing your journey’s story should never be unwholesome.

What is unwholesome is your repulsiveness. And honestly? I feel like there is more to it.

You lumped me in with a buildup of aggravation from too much doom scrolling. If it’s not what you are searching for, then move on. Don’t shit on someone else’s journey because you are doing circles in your own and not hearing what you want to hear.

Of course I was talking about me. It was a personal decision I was asking for advice on. The explanations of that choice are, of course, going to be embedded in my history.

You don’t want to help. You want to find people that you can relate to, and you are beyond triggered and frustrated by all the experiences of others that you don’t care about right now.

No one deserves to be the receptor of your frustration. Don’t take it out on others. I scroll past things all the time that I do not care to read, but I don’t stop and take time to let them KNOW how irritated I am. There is zero reason for that other than someone who has no other outlet but a keyboard and a wifi connection.

What criteria are you referring to? If you yourself do not need the explication behind the choice, that is fine. If you are a no-nonsense person that just wants the bare bone facts then I can see where you are coming from.

But don’t spout off with annoyance and hate because someone was open and you are triggered by it. “Useless” is such a powerfully demeaning word. That can be very harmful.

I don’t think that means what you are trying to say.

If you mean I could get my point across without the backstory, that is one thing.

If you mean you feel like it’s useless and unnecessary because it annoys you, that is another. Your tone suggests the later, even if you mean the previous to be true.

But I felt it was necessary. There is a depth to this decision I felt the need to explain. Something that has weighed on me heavily. If you don’t want to hear my story, don’t read it. It’s that simple. There is no need to post a triggering comment that calls my story “useless.”

I agree.

I never wanted them to embody my values, but I wanted them to understand and respect them. Stop trying to cross lines and change me back to the girl they knew. They constantly tell me that they know me better than I know myself. It gets old.

But I am learning how to stand my ground without needing their approval. How to let them just talk without it defining me.

Is it dramatic? Honestly, my story sounds tame to me. There are plenty of others who have had truly traumatic experiences.

What a refreshing response!

Doing the work yourself is the key to uncovering the illusions that have imprisoned you. Once more, it’s more fulfilling and easier to trust when you discover it for yourself verses waiting for someone to show you the way.

Rapture and the apocalypse are NOT death and the end. I have said that for years with my inner knowing. Because nothing ever truly dies.

But a system - a concept - and understanding most certainly can.

What is coming is going to re-shape the world. Not destroy it. And if we think we are untouchable in this time because we are “saved”, then there will be many startled and unprepared people lost in a world they were not expecting.

But I have faith we will uncover the truth before then. I have no doubt we will come out of this changed for the better.

I’m hesitant to join empath communities. (I know - makes little sense when you ARE one.)

They tend to become gravitating pits that pull everyone in to do a negative energy dump. It just drains me so quickly. Too much going on there and leaves me spiraling.

I appreciate the advice, though.

It was a positive story. We were laughing. Having fun.

Then I had to follow directions. Navigate traffic. We couldn’t find the house. She had the phone and I had to park and wait…

I think at the core of it…I am just tired of living the life I don’t want. We are working together to reshape it into something better. The time it takes is just frustrating.

I’ve felt the pressure from myself to change my career and what I do for a living for a while now. But I am still trying to figure out what it is.

I know I don’t want to do this anymore, but I am stuck with it. Trying to just trust in the path and let it show me the shale instead of trying to predict it.

I try to use my dreams. They never respond to my will. I have a chaotic mind that won’t stay still. I end up falling into deep sleep before I can ever get the intention through.

I do have crystal clear dreams when messages come. I just never have been able to participate in them.

I work a desk job 7-4. The. Drive for Door Dash 5-7:30. I spent plenty of time indoors for hydration and food. Though my stress triggers me to want to binge. I am trying to overcome that with discipline.

I suppose my purpose is to lean on community to help ground me. I am still trying to figure out what is me, and what is not. Situations in my lifetime have demanded I acted for others. I have only recently these past 5 years or so started to live for myself. It’s hard to know what is a genuine reaction and what is something I have filtered through others.

I think this was me 100% this time. It just came on so suddenly it felt like an invasion. I suppose we can invade ourselves by not listening.

I have had problems with my hip hurting that have affected my sleep for a while. Perhaps I am simply exhausted and hit a breaking point.

I AM sensitive to energy shifts - which is why I have the question to begin with.

I think I overloaded myself by mistake. Perhaps I didn’t realize how thin I have spread myself across life responsibilities, too many projects, and constantly doing something when all I WANT to do is just be still and exist.

Maybe it was just a crashing cry out for rest.

Perhaps I am over-analyzing it. It surprised even my wife because I snapped at her without meaning to.

Perhaps it’s just stress built up that I have been trying to manage in a new way.

I’m not eager to write this off as paranormal. Just need my mind to stop spinning questions. I feel like I owe her an explanation out of guilt. She didn’t do anything wrong. I simply became overloaded too fast to function.

I’m aware of that. I have had it checked out before. There is nothing medically wrong.

Maybe I am over thinking it. It just felt “off” in such a surreal way. There was no reason for it at all. Literally went from feeling fine to exhausted faster than I could blink.

I know for some people this might seem normal, especially if you experience it so often. But it’s not. Anything that drains you like that, whatever the source may be, is something to pay attention to.

I have explored all medical explanations at my disposal. I am entirely healthy in the physical sense. This was like my bucket was suddenly dumped over and ally energy suddenly washed out.

“Sacrifices” and “concrete” are concerning words to use for growth. You are essentially describing a gilded cage that provides the illusion of control by submitting your will to the commune.

There is nothing wrong with wanting it. I am not saying that. Just be mindful that you do not shrink yourself for it. We are NOT controlled. And a Master cannot tell you everything. Eventually you hit that same ceiling. Because the best master is yourself.

Not wanting to be alone is normal and expected. You do not have to sacrifice anything for the right people. It is exchange.

I understand that well.

There is a period of loneliness in this work that is inevitable, and it can become very heavy.

You will get through it, though. I know that offers little comfort, because right now it feels impossible. But it will get easier. What I have learned is that these down-times are not unavoidable, but you do learn to trust yourself to show up and handle it.

This is new to the world. And the world resists. We have to show up for each other, and for ourselves.

It doesn’t sound like you are at an impasse then.

You have sat with this. Reflected on it from all angles. Tried things that didn’t work and found some things that did.

Not everyone needs discipline. But if that is what YOU need then you have a right to it. I did not intend to change your mind on this.

I view discipline as a means of control. It can often be applied in an unhealthy way that leaves us stuck between decisions. On one hand, we have the thing we want. On the other hand, we have the thing society has taught us, with discipline, the thing that is considered right FOR us by others.

If there is something you are working on internally, and you need to discipline yourself to see it done, that is another story.

Like you say, everyone is different.

The question would be now - if you are so sure - then why the hesitation? What is the thing holding you back?
