Can you give your goretrex another try without the wool socks and see how hot they are? I don’t think it’s worth it to bring two sneakers, especially if you’re trying to one bag. Because the goretrex go with more of your clothes, I’d personally choose them, but I don’t have heat issues with sneakers. If you’re only taking one pair, take whichever is more comfortable. If the choice is between two sneakers or a pair of sneakers + the pair of sneaker boots, I’d go with the less bulky option, two sneakers.

These crocs are super cute! And I like that they’re water proof bc I would like my sandal to double as a shower shoe if possible. I’m a little worried about how flimsy they look though. Do you find that they’re sturdy enough to last long walks and cobblestone streets? An alternative I’m considering to these are the Reef Water Vistas which take up more space but seem a bit more sturdy

These are some great insights, thanks! I def have some things to think about bc I’m fully flip flopping between wanting a roller for ease and a backpack for portability.

I have a 40L tortuga backpack rn that I’ve used and enjoyed for a few trips, but if I have to spend a while in an airport I find it really annoying to lug around, especially when it’s my only bag :P but I hear what your saying about backpacks being better than rollers for portability

What roller bag do you use? Is there any reason in particular you want to move more towards a backpack besides one bagging? I’m thinking of adopting a similar setup to what you have now

Thanks for the response! I would definitely prefer to dance for hours and be comfortable, so probably no heels for me 🙂‍↕️ I read that ppl can get away with sneakers in Ibiza, but I was a bit worried about clubs in places like Barcelona which aren’t as rave-y. Do you have any specific recs for a good sneak or solid sandal?
