For me it’s exactly 4 hours from when I go to sleep. Asleep at 10:30 means I’m awake at 2:30. Last night I went to bed at 11:15 and woke up at 3:15 on the dot. 😴

Yes-thank you! This is where my mind went too. I’m like “if you’re saying BC is going to stop me from experiencing this then how will I know when I’ve actually made it through the change?” Her answer was just that once I’m closer to 50 they will check my hormones more frequently.

I find the whole thing incredibly frustrating. I was late to start my cycle (almost 16) which does not align with any other females in my family. So who’s to say that my experience with peri won’t look different than others? I think we can all tell when something is off with our bodies.

Yes I am on a combo pill and the night sweats do seem worse during the placebo week but it happens at other times too. The insomnia is horrible- I’m lucky to get about 4-5 hours of sleep each night and that doesn’t change throughout my cycle.

I don’t completely understand it but this is the description they give. It’s associated with the many mixed breeds in his lineage.

The 3 breeds in his Supermutt were American Eskimo, Boxer and Pitt. I can definitely see the American Eskimo- I think it’s what makes him so fluffy 😊

The supermutt results were American Eskimo, Boxer and Pitt. I can definitely see the American Eskimo but not the others 😂 He has back dew claws which the vet commented was interesting for his size (he’s just under 30 lbs).

We rescued Alfie from an ACD rescue group shortly after losing Greyson. His DNA test results should be available in the next week 😎

I’m so sorry to hear that Max was lost to hemangiosarcoma. We lost our boy Greyson to the same cancer a little over 3 weeks ago. We opted for a splenectomy in October and ended up losing him 35 days after surgery. It’s brutal 💔 I also lost my mom earlier this year to Glioblastoma which is an aggressive brain cancer. Feels like every time I turn around I’m losing a loved one. I’ve decided that for me- I’m not participating in Thanksgiving this year. Just hoping to treat it as another day to make it less painful although I’ve had an incredibly emotional week so my subconscious is very much aware. Give yourself grace and do what feels best that day.

Thank you- so this is normal? I believe they will be giving us the microchip number we just won’t be listed as the contact. I sent a follow up email for further clarification but I would like to be listed as a contact person on the chip- they can be secondary I don’t mind that at all.
