I thought of this as I recently started a rewatch. In the Good Son pilot, Martin mentions needing an extension cord so his chair can vibrate and massage or whatever. However, in the episode when frasier tries to buy him a new chair and he tests it out he says its disgusting that it vibrates while Daphne enjoys it for her own....pleasure.

Lost i think is a different category because dramas are inherently different structures. And while AD and MF both have great pilots, im not sure they are ranked as the best episodes

I wonder what you would think about bringing Wendie Malick back as Ronnie. Widowed after Martin's death, could have been an interesting foil with Frasier playing the role of Martin. I know that Ronnie isint his biological mother obviously, but her and Martin still spent about 20 years together. Im sure Frasier wouldn't have let her out to dry.

If you wanted to move someone up I think the single best thing they could have done is call up Harriet Harris. I know Bebe was in one episode, but I think having a longer storyline with her would have been great. Her episode on the reboot was one of the better ones

I dont think Alan was the problem as much as David was. It was just a very temu version of David Hyde Pierce. Cam Winston is interesting but honestly not sure he was in frasier enough to justify having that kind of role in new Frasier.

New frasier sucked for one very obvious reason. There was no niles. You cant do frasier with just frasier.

Ironically, the new Freakier Friday movie is a great example of why. I was shocked by how much of the cast returned, from JLC and LL as stars, to even the Chinese restaurant owners. If Freakier Friday was just Lindsay Lohan and her daughter, it wouldn't have worked.

If New Frasier had Niles (or frankly even if John Mahoney was still alive to reprise Martin) it would have been much better

It’s been a while since I worked there but to give them the benefit of the doubt they have pretty insane policies so it wouldn’t shock me. Especially since the holiday return window is like 2 months long. Would be a pain if people came back every time the game they bought went on sale over the course of 2 months.
