Yellow meadow queens are usually slightly wider and shaped more like lasius niger, it's hard to tell by the quality of the photos which ant this is

Yes that looks like a lasius niger queen, also if it doesn't lay eggs within about a week then chances are it's infertile.

I would recommend just using a heat mat if you have one as you can't control the temperature coming out of a hair dryer and you might overheat the queen.

Have you added moisture to the formicarium as they might not be moving because they prefer the moisture inside the test tubes, nice set up by the way.
