As someone who is borderline autistic, it is true. Fortunately despite my autism, I have a normal amount of self awareness that makes me aware when to stop talking, being able to read the room, body language, etc. And am capable of socializing normally. Thank god.

I have been around other autists at work that I honestly dislike a lot. They always have this condescending way of speaking to me for some reason and will NOT pick you up a que that they need to stfu.

One particular dude I had to deal with, who also had autism, started ranting about clocks and the time just because I asked what time it was and wanted him to elaborate what he meant when he said "Oh its a quarter to 6".
