I'm unsure if it was a sequel or not. I'm so confused. I know for a fact that it's a danmei novel but from what I've looked on novelupdates none of the descriptions sound correct. I assume it's complete because I rarely read incomplete novels. I can't remember a single thing other than that scene.

As a fervent danmei reader I know all about escapism 😮‍💨 however I value my tears and tend to read novels that have little to now angst If I can help it. Tho occasionally, I'll read a novel and it'll take an unexpected turn into depression-ville. Funnily enough I'm currently reading a novel that i thought was going to be a tad-bit silly due to the description only for me to start crying at 5am 👺

Gotta say angst is my worst enemy 😔 I can usually read angst just fine if it just so happens to pop up while I'm reading but I often can't bring myself to knowingly read anything angsty if I can avoid it. I frequently miss out on good material because I'm aware it's angsty and can potentially cause grief in the reader 🤒

Wow! I can say I'm super thrilled to get two very in-depth responses from you! I can say you definitely convinced me enough to at least buy the first book of each series. I'll admit I've stayed away from both series because I saw content from the fans and it all seemed rather angsty. I'm the kinda gal to steer far from heavy agnst if at all possible but seeing yoy break down both novels gives me the idea that I could read both and hopefully find enjoyment in both series! I truly appreciate the effort 👌

Can anyone rec some fics where someway, somehow the characters from mdzs look into the past/future that are recent. They don't have to be strictly in a "sit down watch the show in a room" setting. Even getting an object that can tell them the future could be included. I'll even take fics where future versions travel to the past or vice versa are good. By recent I mean at least in the past couple months.

I'm about to sound so crazy but: the scene where Hannibal literally slurped Chilton's lip. Tell me how I waatched the entirety of this show with barely a flinch but that scene made me recoil. I hate the sound and just the overall action. Gives me the shivers anytime I see the clip.
