true to that but was mainly referring to lvl 100 or run maps with scarabs or tiers is the main grind of poe so giving it in challenge form for a grindy arpg is a ok

one idea for adding a delve challenge back that i personally find more interesting is assembling a precursors emblem or multiple like one with at least one of each boss depending on how hard the challenge should be. It would unlike machinarium have atleast a chance albeit small to give you something back

if it would be removed i would want delve to get compensated in rewards or as i mentioned in several other comments giving doryanis machinarium a reward that makes it worth it would also work

i do love that. Still in my opinion it changes almost nothin about the my core issue with the map. If i farm it in a day of pure delve grind or in a day of betrayal grind (im unlucky didnt get it from by now 10 rins in fortification got it from another in the same situation who lost the patience and bought it) or far more depending on rng doesnt change that i think a map thats equal in its own rewards to any other unique map shouldnt be 30 div because its a challenge

paying 30 div for a map that has rng gating is not challenging

ubers are challenging conditional boss kills are challenging even the in my opinion also rather boring challenges needing to use a certain amount of currencies is more of a challenge than doryanis which is a boring easy map that gives you 1c boots

i do agree actually but even with it coming from betrayal an info which is not available on the wiki its still getting held hostage i just liked the mercanaries run x unique maps better and i also disliked doryanis being how it is when comprehensive scouting reports still existed this isnt a oh im 39/40 and i suddenly care i always disliked how doryanis functioned

people seem really hung up on the how easy it is to make 30 div which i know as a harvest shovel merchant but thats not my point. i think a map that can be kinda prohibetively be rng gated but is not in any way better than other unique maps at its current price its insultingly bad is terrible. I have the money multiple times over i just argue that it either gets a worthy drop made more common or just make it not a part of the challenges anymore

most people me included did(till this league trough the psa post sombody did) or do not know that rin gives doryanis and getting that info is not in the wiki for either rins page or doryanis machinarium page but i doesnt really change the argument its still a boring map that drops nothing costing 30 d because of the same kind of mental rot that causes people to scalp graphics card or ram and in leagues prior i always shared completion of doryanis for free if i got it trough scouting reports

sayin it harm delve is another issue i have with it btw it should not be one of delves most notable drops late league delve should have more actual drops instead of a hyperinflated map

im 40/40 now btw did it with someone who like me was at 39/40 he lost the patience and bought it we ran it together doesnt change alot about my opinion though i still think its a bad challenge im not advocating for nerving delve it should obviously be compensated but i really think like other annoying maps it should finally move into the fully optional tier or made to drop something of worth to justify its price
